TL;DR: For anyone considering a company for their HVAC and plumbing needs - I am a repeat customer & highly recommend Anderson. The quality of the work is done to a high standard, the service is amazing and reliable, and the employees who come out and handle the jobs are always amazing people.
I'm in Anderson's Membership program, and with that - you get certain discounts and annual maintenance done at great prices (the membership is worth it for homeowners). Yesterday I had someone come out to check my HVAC for the coming warmer weather, AND I checked in about a plumbing deal I wanted to take advantage of. The HVAC work was scheduled days ahead of time, and when I called inquiring about the plumbing deal - they were able to send someone else out on the same day. Everyone who came was very professional, did great work, and had what I consider to be solid values.
I say that because Gerald Vasquez and Noel (sorry, Noel - I didn't catch your last name!) came in about the plumbing issue and saw what I needed and explored a few options. It turned out that the plumbing deal I had mentioned and was trying to take advantage of worked a little bit differently than what was described in the marketing email I received. To the point that it made it a bit of a non-started for me & I was grateful they came out, but wasn't interested in the way the deal actually worked. Rather than just leave me hanging - Gerald and Noel went into problem-solving mode to come up with a solution! They went with the simplest, most effective and most helpful option for my issue rather than trying to push the stakes higher and higher to force fit my issue into an up-sell opportunity for something I didn't want or need -- which I've experienced with some companies (and I don't use those other companies anymore). This resolved my issue quickly (something that had been annoying me for years about the house), and was done at a very fair rate. They honestly made my day with how they handled the situation.
And then, about 40 minutes later, Brandon Verdin-Ballesteros (who had serviced my home system before) came out to do my HVAC maintenance. My unit uses these expensive filters that you're supposed to change every year. I don't use my system that often due to the weather here - so I try to change it out every two years. Changing that filter, again - as a VIP Member with Anderson - is included at no additional expense with your maintenance so long as you have your own filter on-hand. The technician just does it if requested. Brandon checked my system out & ran it through the usual paces -- but rather than just blindly install the new filter -- he showed me my current filter compared to the new filter he'd just removed from the box. Since I don't use my system that much, the old filter - which had been there for about 2 years - was still just as clean as the fresh one. He pointed that out to me and suggested that I don't install the new one yet, and have them evaluate whether or not to install it at the next regular maintenance visit (which, again - for members is free & included annually with what you're paying). It wasn't money for Anderson, but Brandon saved me money! Thanks to him - I won't need to buy another $300-ish filter for that system for a little bit longer, and I'm thankful to him for that!
I took the time to explain all of that because experiences like these are what make the difference to me as a customer with Anderson. I want great work, I want good prices -- but those are, to me, the STANDARD that I should expect from any business. Anderson employees go beyond that and provide great beneficial reactions in the best interest of the people they serve... And that matters A LOT.
So, thank you again Gerald, Noel, and Brandon. You all are amazing.
I've actually left a review for Anderson before under a different account, but Google wouldn't let me post a new review -- tried to have me edit the old one. They were 5 stars back then, too.
