  We’ve used Bill Metzger plumbing several times over the years and the service is consistently professional. I’m always grateful for their communication and sending a photo of the technician that will be at my door. Fast, friendly and fair service from a local business will always be our first choice.

  We got Jacob today per referral from a mom I know from my kids class to check on a potential leak…just as that mom described, he is really good! Trust worthy and Professional…we had to ditch pristine plumbing as we had super bad experience with them lately for their upsale of unrelated and unnecessary services and I was not sure if i can find someone to trust so quickly…but Jacob definitely has put my mind in ease…there was no leak after all but he did all the necessary testing and show case and explained to me the purpose of each test and proposed recommendations without trying to sell me the big service or project…in the end only charged me $39 dollar service fee…I wanted to pay more but Jacob mentioned that is just what they can charge if didn’t provide service beyond testing. So hopefully more and more honest plumbing professionals will get recognized to show case to the industry that honest work is the way to go for the long run…bringing more business overall and eventually will bring big jobs when a home needs it.

  Company was quick to respond. Tech showed up on time and determined we needed a new hot water heater. Quoted 2800.00 for full replacement and haul off of old heater.. I already had received a quote of 2100.00 from another company and provided that quote to the tech.. He said their price was firm at 2800.00 and said they would send me quote for me to decide but if I wanted to move ahead he could complete the work while he was there already. I elected to pay the 39.00 fee and said I would review the written quote and decide later. I did get another quote which was 2850.00 from another local company. Elected to go with the 2100.00 quote for the same Bradford White 50 Gallon tank. Total came in at 2350.00 which included the expansion tank which wasn’t quoted in the 2100.00 which included new supply lines, valves, new gas line and valve, overflow pan and external PVC for the pan.. All completed to code with a 6 year warranty on the tank and 1 year on labor and parts.. work was completed by Swift Hot Water Heaters in Mission Viejo.

  We bought a home with a PSI sump pump, but didn’t know how it works. The manufacturer recommended Bill Metzger Plumbing. Metzger plumbing sent out Jacob, who is an expert with PSI sump pumps. Jacob took his time to explain how our system works, and answered all questions we had. He tested our 2 pumps with water and helped us loosen our trench drain so we can access it. He charged us the basic fee for coming out, which is beyond reasonable. He was honest with the life of our pumps, and we appreciate the way he does business. Bill Metzger has a loyal customer now, and. I will always request Jacob for my sump pump needs.

  Good plumbers; GREAT customer service; mid value/cost ratio. I called because I accidentally punctured the main water line from the meter to the house which, unfortunately and unknowingly, was only 4 inches below the topsoil. After calling Metzger plumbing due to their good and plentiful reviews, I was able to schedule an appointment for early afternoon the same day! Having to pick up my kids around the same time, Jacob showed up while I was gone, and stated the pipe was made of soft copper and cannot be sweat or used to repair it. He stated he would use 90degree elbows and press fit them to make the repair. After my approval, it wasn't more than 30 minutes that he called back stating the repair was complete, and that due to the location, a fake bush would be needed to prevent cover up the area. Upon arriving home, I saw the completed work and was shocked! Although fixed, the pipe was now 4 inches ABOVE the soil level! I envisioned the repair either to go lower (as it SHOULD be 18" below) or at least be at the same level. Had I been home, I wouldn't have accepted that solution, but I'm grateful that Jacob was still able to get our water line running while I wasn't present. Of course, I called Metzger back, explained the situation, and they scheduled me for Jacob to come back the next day. Due to a schedule conflict on their end, the VP of operations, Jason, called me back to explain in great length why Jacob completed the work that way, but also agreed to come back and take a look personally. Sure enough, Jason and another plumber Greg, showed up two days later, and completed the repair as it should have been done the first time. During that time and even during our prior phone conversation, I got to know Jason and received more insight into the company. At no time was I unsure if they would correct my issue, and sure enough, they came through. It's a great company with wholesome values. I only leave 4 stars because 5 would've been earned if the job was done right the first time. Knowing that they went above and beyond to correct my issue is why I'll be a return customer in the future. As for value, it's my personal opinion that the price I paid was higher than expected.
