  Called the San Leandro (edit: meant to say San Carlos) store looking for a custom carpet cut to fit my drum studio platform. I provided precise dimensions and just wanted a yes or no if this project was possible. They were argumentative and told me they cannot help me unless I come into the store. Acted like I was an idiot like carpet is rocket science and kept interrupting me to give me a lecture on the definition of a remnant. All I wanted was a simple yes or no before I drive 45 minutes to the store. Horrible customer service. Take your business elsewhere.

  California Carpet has a great selection and was able to help me choose the right one for my situation. The installers did an excellent job. There was one mishap where an important wire was clipped during installation but they have agreed to pay for the repair. The store staff is friendly and did not attempt to upsell me something I didn't want or need.

  We had carpet installed in the bedrooms/hallway and indoor/outdoor carpet in sunroom. We love both! Beautiful, comfortably installed with padding, and reasonably priced. Very pleased!
