  Zero Communication – Left Without AC in 105° Weather I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication from this company. We scheduled a midday appointment on a Saturday. The technician inspected our AC system and stated he was driving to Redding to purchase a necessary part. He never returned and provided no update. I was forced to text him directly to find out what was happening, at which point he claimed the part would not arrive until Monday. On Monday, I received no communication from the tech or the office. I called the main office myself and was told the technician now required a second opinion from an associate. An appointment was set for Tuesday. On Tuesday, the second technician was a no-show. Once again, I had to initiate contact with the main office to find out why the appointment was missed. Dealing with multiple no-shows and an absolute lack of proactive communication while temperatures reached 105 degrees is unacceptable. I have terminated my service with this company and cannot recommend them.

  Polar air called us late this morning to schedule an appointment the technician was here by 1:15pm this afternoon. Frankie was prompt and very nice and had diagnosed the problem quickly. He found that the capacitor was bad and was able to change it out and had our unit up and running right away. Another company had diagnosed it with a completely different problem and never got back to us with an itemized estimate so we could have the work done. We have a home warranty and it was denied previously which we now believe may have been due to misdiagnosis from the previous company. We hope this will be covered by the home warranty company but if not we now know what the problem was and are thankful that Frankie and Polar Air was able to help us with the situation. At this time we would recommend and use Polar Air in the future if any other issues arise. Thank you!
