  My garage door would not open. The spring had broken . I called Besser and made an appointment and they gave me a window of 1 pm to 6 pm the same day. Cris L called about 12:30 and advised he was on his way. He arrived before the scheduled appointment time. Cris texted me on arrival at my home. Cris L introduced himself and was very professional and friendly. He came with another man and they assessed the problem and gave me quotes and costs for each solution. I also had him replace the wheels on the garage door. I had been told by a neighbor to replace them sooner than later. I am very happy with the appointment ease and professionalism of Cris L and the Besser company. When my garage motor needs replacement I will call Besser. Thank for the great service.

  Eric, my technician was excellent! He arrived on time and asked all of the right questions. He was thorough and personable. He gave me estimates for replacement costs on the spot. This was a great experience!

  The technician, Erik arrived as scheduled then started assessing the situation of a broken spring on my garage door. He was very professional and offered me several options for the repair needed. I was extremely pleased with his work ethic and total knowledge of his craft. In the future, should I need Besser Garage Doors help, I hope I can request Eric.

  Avoid Besser —Absolutely frustrating experience. Since November 2024, Besser has sent 10 different technicians to my house over 13 separate visits to install, adjust multiple times, and repair the new garage door. Today (6/16/26) was supposed to be the final resolution, but they showed up with the wrong glass panels. Glass panels that I waited 3 months to have replaced. This latest situation started because they broke two of my original glass panels while trying to fix the leaking windows. After breaking the 2 windows, they decided to just do an incredibly sloppy silicone job on the outside. This is just the tip of the iceberg. During this 1.5-year ordeal, they have also damaged my new drywall and paint due to a misaligned installation. Some of the techs were young and seem to lack basic competence, quality control, and care for customer property. All the technicians were pleasant which has kept me from making this review. I am a very patient person. I have been patient for 1.5 years but this is just getting to be ridiculous. No one should have 13 visits to install a garage door and it is not over as they are ordering new glass! Save yourself the headache and do not use this company.
