- BWBarry WoodsApr 30, 20262.0I finally got them out to service our residential elevator. Unfortunately, the same thing they did a few years ago, they did an inspection (I'm assuming), no checking the red grease pad, and when they found 2 items (auto descender and leveling) not working, said they'd make a note of it for next time (a year) that we needed service. Why come out and put in minimal effort if you're not going to fix the issues at hand. Since you pay in advance, not much recourse

He provided an excellent refresher on basic troubleshooting in case someone was to ever get stuck in the elevator, especially if during a power failure. Highly recommend!
