  These are the guys you want to hire for all your home HVAC needs. Nemi is the absolute best! I'm a commercial HVAC engineer so I know when a company is full of it, these guys are the real deal. It's so easy for HVAC contractors to dupe or overcharge homeowners since few people understand these systems. GB doesn't just treat you with fairness and honesty, they openly share their knowledge so you can learn to; they treat you like family, dedicated to customer service and forthcoming with every detail. But beyond the technical knowledge, its the personality. Nemi exhibits an eagerness and happiness to serve that simply doesn't exist with 99% of the people you'll ever hire to work on your home. He's a born problem solver and a joy to work with. This is the kind of contractor you keep for life and you refer all your neighbors to.

  I have used GB Heating & Air on two of my properties in Lafayette, one in the Happy Valley area of Lafayette and the second near Acalanes high school. Overall, I've been extremely satisfied with the level of service and professionalism by GB on both jobs. The Happy Valley job was complex and involved the removal and installation of a new Carrier Infinity furnace in the attic space that required construction. GB handled everything at a cost significantly lower than other bids eventhough all bids involved installation of the same exact furnace. One bid was $12k higher than GB which was quite surprising considering the same exact equipment was being installed. The second job involved work on a Bryant furnace, again another HVAC contractor proposed replacing various parts, including a motor at a cost of $2k. GB came by and literally solved the issue in under 30 minutes. The problem was a bad contactor wire which was causing an electric short. GB fixed the issue for $300. When you're not in the business/science of HVAC it is very easy to be taken advantage of. I'm glad I've found GB Heating & Air, an honest and highly competent HVAC contractor whom I'll be recommending to all my neighbors in the Lamorinda area.

  Boris was fantastic! He responded quickly when our air conditioner stopped working and was able to diagnose and fix the problem right away. He was professional, knowledgeable, and had a very positive attitude throughout the entire process. It’s rare to find someone who is both highly skilled and genuinely pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Boris to anyone needing help with their air conditioning. Excellent service from start to finish!

  Our AC kept tripping the breaker every time it kicked on. With the heat wave and summer around the corner, we were concerned that we need to replace the whole unit. Boris came out the same day and figured it out fast. He even went to get the part himself to fix our ac unit the same day. Highly recommend!

  Boris, the owner was very professional. He responded promptly to our request for an estimation in installing 4 vents for our new renovation. He arrives on time to the appointment which is something that's very difficult for contractors to abide by. For that I give +5 brownie points because it shows reliability and professionalism. The quote he gave us was very reasonable.
