  Golden Aire replaced our broken ac and furnace unit last year. I got over 5 different quotes and 5 various recommendations so I was very confused in the end. I chose the Goldens because Eddie came over and spent over an hour actually assessing my system to make sure his recommendation was fitting for my home. He heard my initial concerns with cost and sent me an affordable option at first. Once we took the time to think about things, we were interested in higher end options with the goal to save on energy bills. Eddie took the time to speak with us over the phone about multiple options, all considering budget, energy efficiency and performance. We opted for a Bosch heat pump and variable speed AC and we have been so happy. For this unit, we saved thousands compared to other quotes. We also love our new unit. We have reduced our energy bills by over 50%, especially during summer where the impact is the greatest. PGE has different energy plans and some of the savings comes from efficiency but also from a select CA plan. We also got about 3K in rebate which Eddie educated us on. The installation was seamless.   I’ve been a customer for years. The last two times I’ve needed service Daniel has come out to help me. He is a very nice young man. He seems very knowledgeable. He doesn’t start with the most expensive thing right off the bat. He starts with the most obvious and goes from there.

  Golden Aire , technician Daniel came out to look at my air conditioning unit on the same day as I called in the request. Daniel was no nonsense, and honest. He asked a few questions and immediately provided potential problems. He opened up the panel and took a look. We had just had two other big name companies look at the same problem and gave estimates from $5,000 (minimum) to $30,000, because of the age of our unit and it had a leak. First thing Daniel said, the unit is not running so it is impossible to tell if it even has a leak. He checked the fuses, good; checked the capacitor, bad. He suggested we replace the capacitor and if it works we would be good to go. He replaced the capacitor, it started working immediately. He checked the fluid pressure, okay- no leak; he checked the temperatures, not great but working. Thank you to Golden Aire and Daniel our technician.

  I called this company and the receptionist was extremely rude, I ended up using airflow and would highly recommend them. Im sorry and I dont usually leave bad reviews but I'm telling you these guys better get someone else answering there phone or this chick will ruin there reputation.

  Used Golden Aire for annual maintenance. They were very communicative and not pretentious at all. Daniel's service was top-notch and I will definitely request to have him work on our system again.
