  We had to fully gut and DIY our kitchen reno, and since it was unexpected, we had a tight budget to make it happen. Tl;Dr Granite Expo has a great price point for relatively good quality solid wood cabinets compared to other places that costs more or uses MDF. My SIL recommended me Granite Expo for their price point and quality. They use Milzen brand cabinets and the cabinet builder is just 2 minutes away from their Oakland store. My review is on the kitchen cabinets and purchasing process. I shopped around with other local SF, Oakland, and Hayward cabinet shops and had a rendering made from their Emeryville location before deciding to move forward with buying from Granite Expo. I was able to speak to a rep within 10 minutes with my rendering to place my order, we did 15 cabinets in M21 Hollis White cabinets (shaker style) and it was ready to pick up within the same week. On pick up day, we brought our truck and made 2 runs. They helped load in which was so helpful! Good quality and perfect for DIYer's or contractors.

  Granite Expo has some great options, for DIY or work through a contractor or designer, which I highly recommend, especially if you are a novice. Their prices are very good, so you need to take responsibility for your order and check and double check measurements. Their cabinetry ranges from traditional shaker, which is very affordable, to semi custom modern cabinetry , which is what I chose. Their staff will help you with design but you need to know what you want and what your budget is before you go in. They have become a fairly one stop design shop for most kitchen/bathroom remodels; cabinets, countertops, vanities, flooring, some tiling and accessories. Chris, the manager in Emeryville , goes out of his way to make his customers happy and is interested in design himself. I would definitely recommend going to Granite Expo. I worked with Jennie on the designs and she was very good. Thanks to Granite Expo I love my new kitchen.

  Could easily stay here all day! So beautiful. Very inspirational if you have a project you can just walk around to see all of the many different kinds of international natural design that is available. I highly recommend. 🇮🇹🗿🧱🇬🇭⛰️💎🇲🇪🇵🇬🇪🇬🌉⚒️ Genuine and wonderful slabs of option on top of option! I am surrounded by so much natural and exotic marble with granite from all over the world! It must have cost a fortune the pieces are enormous, Yaaay!

  best prices in town for sure. limited selection. mixed service but generally pretty bad. no credit toward purchase even if you buy the tile samples to try them out. warning: they rarely update their displays. don't plan your whole kitchen around a tile they have on display, assuming it's in stock, confirm they have plenty on hand and wasn't discontinued moths ago. :(
