- DBDerik BellOct 8, 20225.0I am just a trucker that had a small amount of lumber coming into BMC west in Modesto. It was a Saturday and I knew they would not be open. But I decided to swing by and see if someone was in the yard and take the small amount off of me so I could progress down my route. I pulled off the road in front and watched for some movement in the yard. There was not. I was about to drive away and a BMC employee pulled up. I thought this might be my lucky day. I must have set off their security system. Because at first the employee seemed upset at me. I apologized and didn't realize what I had done. He could have been a rude and told me to go away. But instead he allowed me to come in the gate so he could unload me. Louis was the mans name. He refused to take a tip for unloading me on a Saturday. What a great person he is. It really made my day. Thank you!
