  So glad you guys were able to come out so quickly. Robert was great. He was very professional and explained exactly what was wrong with the AC unit. And then fixed it and got us up and running in about an hour.

  I recently had my entire HVAC system replaced by Bob and his team (Steve, Greg, and Ivan), and the experience was outstanding from start to finish. Bob was honest and thorough in explaining all my options upfront, and there was never any pressure—just clear information so I could make a good decision. On installation day, the crew arrived on time, and they were professional, polite, and courteous the whole way through. This was not a simple job (a crane was used to move the old unit out and the new one in…over the house!), but they handled everything safely and efficiently. The project was completed on budget and actually finished earlier than I expected. What impressed me most was the care they took with our home. When they left, the only thing they left behind was the newly installed equipment—no trash, no mess, and no damage anywhere. The install looks amazing! I highly recommend Bob and his team to anyone needing HVAC work. Skilled, trustworthy, and reliable—exactly what you want in a contractor.

  Good point: Tech arrived the same day, had great customer service and very pleasant interaction. Bad points: I was charged nearly $500 for the repair that lasted less than 10 hours, then given another - completely unrelated estimate for $2900 to replace a coil system, which I was told the initial charge will be included in that service fee. Needless to say the $500 charge for a A/C system that stayed working for less than 10 hrs was just a way to make extra money on a customer. Since then I found an amazing tech that was recommended to me that not only provided a temp. fix that is still working after 3 days, but also provided a quote to replace a coil with a lower price and a much better service coverage on both labor and parts. Expansive lesson learnt.

  Update: I called. They say manager is not there and will call me back. No one called me back. It's been 2 days 🙂 I consider this company as scam at this point. I’m not happy with the service I received. The original reason for my service call was a blown 50-amp fuse. I had also recently installed a new thermostat, and before the appointment I spent about 20 minutes on the phone explaining exactly how I had wired it and what I had done. The technician understood that the blown fuse was a separate issue from the thermostat. When he arrived, he inspected the thermostat and decided to work on the wiring. However, I was not given a quote or told what this work would cost before he proceeded, nor was I asked whether I wanted him to go ahead with the additional work. From what I observed, the thermostat work mainly involved disconnecting one wire and connecting the PEK to the Y terminal at the unit. The technician himself told me that I had done a good job and that what I had wired was correct. I had intentionally disconnected the Y wire at the unit to return the system to its previous configuration while troubleshooting. I completely understand that there are liability issues and that a technician may not be comfortable instructing a homeowner to perform electrical or HVAC work. However, I believe I should have been told what needed to be done, what it would cost, and given the choice of whether I wanted to authorize that work before being charged for it.More importantly, the blown fuse, the actual reason I called, was never resolved. Initially, the technician told me he could not troubleshoot the fuse because he did not know where the condenser was receiving power from. I left work and came home specifically to help. I suggested several possibilities and ultimately located the breaker supplying power to the condenser myself. Even after we identified the breaker, I was told the electrical issue could not be repaired and that I would need to contact an electrician. I understand that if the problem is with the disconnect, breaker, or another component outside the HVAC technician’s scope, then referring me to an electrician is reasonable. I have no issue with that. My concern is with the overall service experience. The technician appeared exhausted and seemed ready to leave very early in the visit rather than actively troubleshooting the root cause. My system is from 2011 and has some unconventional existing work that may have been acceptable under previous standards but may not meet current practices. I understand that this makes troubleshooting more difficult. However, I felt that I had to repeatedly ask questions, suggest things to check, and encourage further troubleshooting before additional items were inspected. Ultimately, nothing related to the original blown-fuse problem was repaired. I was then charged approximately $400 and was told that the technician had to “rewire everything.” I have difficulty understanding that explanation because I personally wired the thermostat and was present for part of the troubleshooting. I understand charging for the technician’s time to inspect and verify the thermostat wiring and confirm that the condenser could receive a cooling call. What I do not understand is how that resulted in approximately $400 in charges without a clear quote or authorization beforehand, particularly when the original problem remained unresolved. I was aware that there would be a $99 service-call charge, and I have no issue paying a reasonable diagnostic fee. My concern is the additional amount charged for work that I did not clearly authorize in advance and that did not resolve the issue I originally called about. Overall, this was a very negative service experience. I am requesting a refund or reasonable adjustment of the approximately $400 charge. Thank you for taking the time to review this. I hope we can reach a reasonable resolution. 2 stars for the call service answer quickly and promptly sending out service.
