  This review is long overdue, but I want to sincerely thank Kraficitican for the amazing job they did designing two bathrooms in our new home several months ago. Tara and Andrea were incredibly personable and easy to work with— it genuinely felt like working with longtime friends! They were also extremely patient throughout the entire process, especially as I went back and forth for months trying to finalize the design for our master bathroom. Their guidance, creativity, and attention to detail made all the difference, and the end result turned out absolutely perfect. I couldn’t have done it without them! Seriously! Before and after photos included. If you’re looking for a talented and trustworthy local company, I highly recommend Kraficitican - you won’t regret it.

  We literally cannot say enough good things about Tom and Tara and our choice to use Kraftician Design Surfaces in Livermore, as our one-stop-shop for design services, flooring, countertops and backsplash. They are absolutely amazing to work with! It started when we "popped" into Kraftician one day without an appointment and were graciously greeted by Tom. His product knowledge, product quality and warm demeaner led us to know exactly who we wanted to work with. As we didn't know where to start, both Tom and Tara worked tirelessly to help us build our vision. From offering suggestions and a multitude of design ideas, Tara often ran samples over to our house to see how they looked in our own lighting and surroundings. We settled on 2,700 sq ft of wide plank white oak hardwood flooring, quartzite countertops and a beautiful Spanish subway tile backsplash. Their patience, comfort, reassurance and attention to detail is unmatched. As an example, they scoured the bay to find extra-long quartzite slabs that would fit our back bar so we didn't have any seems, and Tara suggested a beautiful black granite slab for our fireplace hearth and we absolutely love it! Tom worked with us to map out each section of the quartzite counters to ensure the veining matched, and our favorite parts of the slabs were used in all the right places. Jose (fabricator) and his team were equally amazing and perfectionists. It showed! As Tom has been in the business for decades, he was also a wealth of information and was able to recommend other professionals as we needed them (plumber as an example). Everyone they recommended, were just perfect to work with. Because of this, our project went without a hitch - and we love the result and are forever grateful! If anyone is in the market for a home redesign or face lift, we cannot recommend Kraftician Design Surfaces enough. The quality and personal touch you get from using a local small business is priceless. You will go from strangers to friends! We can't wait to work with them again.

  I purchased three quartzite slabs for our kitchen, guest bath and laundry room. We visited a lot of stores across the Bay Area and couldn't find a Taj Mahal slab we felt comfortable with. Tom went above and beyond to find nice slabs and the job turned out really nice. Additionally, Tara recommended really nice tiles for the kitchen and fireplace. We love how our fireplace turned out. Thank you!

  I purchased a granite slab for a kitchen remodel and floor tile for a bathroom remodel on two separate occasions. I had great experiences for both visits. Tom & Tara did a great job in listening to what my wife and I believed we were looking for design-wise. They then helped guide us through many different options to help achieve our design. I also appreciated that they suggested other material options that we had not known were available to even consider. Thank you again!

  Five Stars, AMAZING! Tom & Tara were so wonderful to work with on our new flooring project from the very beginning. They allowed us to take home flooring samples to view with our other hard finishes. We didn't have a contractor lined up so Tom found someone for us to do the demo & flooring install. He oversaw every aspect of the install process & we are so thrilled with how the floors came out! It truly feels like a new house. The attention to detail, transitions from room to room and how efficiently the crew performed the job blew us away. Tom was also so professional and communicative throughout the whole process. Cannot wait to use Kraftician again for our next project.
