I wanted a vanity and linen tower to fit a 96inch space. The cabinet sold to me were 92 inch and they sold me fillers for each end. I found they do sell a 27' sink cabnet which would have been close to perfect. So I called and asked if I could get the 27" instead of the 24" i was sold. They sent me an estimate for almost $800. And told me there were no returns on original purchase. Pretty disappointing. Smh so I guess I'm stuck with something that is what I paid for but it's not what should have been sold to me for the space it was going in. Your response seems boilerplate and untrue in this circumstance. My failure was not reading your invoice and trusting I was being done correctly. Very disappointing. I hope people read this review and double check what your being sold is correct because once you pay D&M will not help correct there mistake.

We looked at lowes, home depot, and Ferguson for a medicine cabinet that we like, and couldn't find one. These guys had a beautiful one that was perfect, and so much other neat stuff in their showroom.

D & M Kitchen and Bath were amazing! I had water damage in my home that affected my attic, entryway, half bath, laundry room, hallway and kitchen. I decided to redo everything in my home and moved myself and my belongings out so the workers were able to do their work without having to worry about picking up at the end of the day! Dennis took care of everything with his team! Emily was amazing as well. They helped me with material selections, and I couldn’t be happier. Anytime I had a question, I received a prompt answer. I was always aware of what was being scheduled when as the communication was excellent. I would not hesitate to use their services again. I can’t wait to move back in my house.
Frequently Asked Questions About D&M kitchen and bath supply
Why does D&M Kitchen and Bath Supply install everything they sell?
Installing products we sell eliminates coordination problems between suppliers and contractors. You work with one licensed team from showroom selection through final installation, which prevents miscommunication about measurements, materials, or project timelines. This approach also activates our one-year workmanship and material warranty covering both product and labor.
What's included in the one-year workmanship and material warranty?
The warranty covers both installation quality and product defects for twelve months after project completion. If grout cracks due to improper substrate prep, a faucet leaks from faulty components, or paint adhesion fails, the repair is covered. This dual coverage exists because the same company controls product sourcing and installation.
How does luxury vinyl flooring hold up in Livermore's temperature swings?
Luxury vinyl expands and contracts minimally compared to laminate or hardwood, making it stable during Livermore's 40-degree seasonal temperature range. Proper acclimation before installation and correct expansion gaps prevent buckling during summer heat. The moisture resistance also handles humidity from nearby Delta breezes without warping.
When should you repaint cabinets instead of replacing them during a kitchen remodel?
Cabinet painting makes sense when boxes and frames remain structurally sound but finish looks dated. If door styles feel current and hinges operate smoothly, professional painting with proper prep and premium materials costs 60-70% less than replacement. Worn drawer boxes, outdated door profiles, or compromised cabinet structure favor replacement.
What affects countertop installation pricing in a kitchen remodel?
Material choice drives base cost, with laminate, quartz, and granite spanning wide price ranges. Edge profiles, backsplash height, cutouts for sinks and cooktops, and total square footage all adjust final pricing. Removing old countertops, repairing underlying cabinets, or reinforcing spans for heavy stone adds to the installation cost.
Why do bathroom remodels need plumbing coordination even without layout changes?
New vanities rarely align with old drain and supply locations, requiring fixture repositioning. Shower valve heights, tub spout placement, and toilet flange positions change with updated products. Licensed plumbers test connections after installation to prevent leaks inside finished walls, which is critical when tile and waterproofing seal everything.
What preparation happens before interior painting starts?
Surface prep includes filling nail holes, caulking trim gaps, sanding rough patches, and priming stained areas to prevent bleed-through. Furniture gets moved to room centers and covered, while floors receive protection. Proper prep prevents paint from highlighting wall imperfections and ensures even color coverage without streaking.
How does shower tile installation prevent water damage long-term?
Waterproof membrane applied to backer board before tile installation creates the actual water barrier—tile and grout alone aren't waterproof. Proper slope toward the drain, correctly sealed corners, and full-height protection behind shower valves prevent moisture from reaching wall framing. Poor membrane installation causes hidden rot that appears years later.
What's the difference between porcelain and ceramic tile for flooring?
Porcelain is fired at higher temperatures, making it denser and more water-resistant than ceramic. This matters for entryways and bathrooms where moisture exposure is constant. Porcelain also resists scratching and chipping better under heavy traffic, though both materials perform well when installed over properly leveled subfloors.
Can you remodel a kitchen or bathroom in phases to spread out costs?
Phased remodels work when stages don't interfere with each other—painting before new flooring arrives, or installing countertops after cabinetry settles. However, plumbing rough-in must happen before tile, and cabinet installation should precede countertop templating. Breaking projects into uncoordinated phases often increases total cost due to repeated mobilization and protection requirements.
Why does exterior painting require different materials than interior painting?
Exterior paint formulations resist UV degradation, temperature extremes, and moisture infiltration that interior paint can't handle. Livermore's intense summer sun and winter rain cycles demand elastomeric or acrylic coatings that expand and contract with siding. Exterior primers also block tannin bleed from wood and seal porous surfaces against water absorption.
What changes after a complete bathroom remodel is finished?
Water pressure improves with new fixtures and updated supply lines. Ventilation gets stronger when outdated exhaust fans are replaced, reducing moisture buildup and mildew. Lighting becomes more functional with properly placed vanity and shower fixtures. Storage increases through reconfigured vanities, and cleaning gets easier with modern grout-sealed tile instead of worn caulk joints.
