  5 star service, Joe and Carlos took the time to complete a whole home evaluation and pointed out issues that require attention. They came to my home to clear an upstairs bathroom drain using a motorized snake. The snake went 35 feet and was unable to clear the drain line. Joe stated the next step is to plan to hydro jet the drain line. Great company and experience.

  John Stevenson Plumbing, Heating and Air is absolutely the best! I can’t say enough good things about them. We had Joe and Carlos come out, and they were great from start to finish. They confirmed our appointment right away and sent a quick text when they were on their way, which I really appreciated. It made it so much easier to plan around the appointment. Once they got here, they were super professional but also really easy to talk to. They explained everything that was going on and let me know that our pressure-reducing valve needed to be replaced. They explained why it needed to be done without making me feel pressured into anything. They also went above and beyond by doing a full inspection of the house and testing our water quality. They pointed out a few things that will eventually need some attention, which I actually really appreciated. Now I know about them ahead of time and can plan for them instead of getting hit with an unexpected repair. The pricing was fair and completely upfront, and they cleaned everything up before they left. If you need a plumber, I would definitely recommend John Stevenson Plumbing, Heating and Air. It’s so nice to find a company you can actually trust!

  I want to like these guys so badly. Still "family owned", started the business to be problem solvers. They feel different than the big corporate VC backed companies were no experts exists in the company. I found them because one of their techs dropped off stuffed animals to my kids as marketing when they drove by (genius). I wanted so badly for these guys to win out over the VC backed companies dominating home services these days I've had them out twice now and one time they solved my simple plumbing issue at a reasonable rate and even caulked the toilet base clean neatly. Felt like quality service I would be willing to pay for. More recently I had them out to service my AC. I knew the problem, but I wanted to expert to fix it and was willing to pay decently to do so. Their AI voice service actually worked well to schedule and their tech communicated well and was on time. He didn't about 30-45 minutes identifying the problem before saying my unit just can't cool my house and we needed a $16,000 replacement to survive the summer. $16k like it's a casual number. The problem was just condensation overflow kicking on the Safe-T switch. Lucky for me, we all have AI and I was able to walk through fixing it myself with a shop vac in about 30 minutes. It's been purring better than ever for about 3 weeks since my repair. House is plenty cold and turns out the unit cools this house just fine. My fear is they have gotten so big and put all the pieces in place that they are no different than the big VC backed companies. Same playbook, use AI to schedule free service calls that are actually sales calls from employees that are equally trained in sales as they are service, up sell new units instead of repair to keep existing fully capable systems running, hope people don't know better, use marketing and reviews to flood Google with positive sentiment, rinse and repeat for massive bottom line profits. The AI voice bot probably should have been my first clue that they've grown too big. My advice, find a real local technician who's rates might seem high but actually provides service and knowledge and a direct point of contact. A 1-10 person company that does hands on work, avoid the companies with thousands of reviews. You are paying for the systems they use and their front level technicians are sales people first.
