  I have a 60+ year-old house, and the drain pipes likely had never been properly serviced beyond basic snaking. We initially thought our kitchen clog was caused by grease, but it turned out to be severe internal scale buildup. To make things more complicated, the clog was over 30 feet deep, and there was a T-shaped pipe that prevented hydro jetting and other tools from reaching it easily. On top of that, the cleanout for this section had been hidden behind drywall during a past remodel. This was the situation Richard and Edgar walked into—essentially working on pipes they couldn’t even see. They approached the problem with patience and persistence. Using multiple tools (camera inspection, hydro jetting, and more), they worked through a lot of trial and error to fully understand and solve the issue. It was not a simple job, and it took 3 days to finish. I could see the effort and problem-solving involved every step of the way. Here’s what they accomplished: - Fully resolved the kitchen clog - Located and uncovered the hidden cleanout behind the drywall -Extended the cleanout to make future maintenance much easier -Fixed a long-standing slow drain issue in the upstairs bathtub (something other plumbers couldn’t solve for years) -Repaired the drywall with a clean, accessible panel for future access. His nephew came to help this part of project. He is fortunate to learn this while he is at 7th grade -Took the time to explain maintenance tips and DIY insights so I can better care for the system What stood out most was their transparency and communication. They kept me informed throughout the process—sharing both challenges and progress. Before opening the drywall, they explored every possible option to minimize unnecessary damage. They also paid attention to details, especially keeping the workspace clean and protecting the rest of the house. As an engineer, I really appreciate their problem-solving mindset. Richard, in particular, showed strong focus and dedication, even while managing calls to keep his business running. I now understand why one of the review saying never call back. He might occasionally miss a call—he’s fully engaged in the job at hand. One example of his customer-first thinking: on the third day, he suggested extending the cleanout for easier future access—something that wasn’t required, but will make a big difference long-term. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the results and the experience. Richard and his team went above and beyond, and he will definitely be my go-to plumber in the future.
