About Us Matthew Metz, Owner With over two decades of hands-on experience in construction, Matthew Metz has built a reputation for quality craftsmanship, reliability, and a deep commitment to customer satisfaction. His journey in the trades began straight out of high school with a four-year apprenticeship, leading to a successful career as a foreman specializing in bridges, docks, and superstructures. In 2016, after 20 years in the industry, Matt founded Woodland Workers with a vision—one that allowed him the flexibility to spend more time with his two young sons while continuing to pursue his passion for building.
