⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We’ve been doing business with PR Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning since 2009 and have always received excellent service. Their technicians are knowledgeable, professional, and reliable.
Today was no exception. Joel came out for the second time to our home—he had previously been here for our annual AC service. This time, we had an issue with our AC motor. We called this morning, and he had us up and running by this afternoon!
After 17 years, we highly recommend PR Plumbing, Heating & Air Conditioning. You simply can’t ask for better service!

I do not recommend this company based on my experience. I scheduled a routine A/C maintenance tune-up, and the technician Rodrigo advised me to wait until my older system stopped cooling before adding refrigerant. When it did, a second technician, Joel, came out.
I was not clearly informed about a separate labor charge in addition to the refrigerant cost and was asked to sign electronically before seeing the full invoice. I was charged several hundred dollars, but the issue was not resolved because the underlying problem was not addressed. I also felt there was pressure to replace the entire system rather than explore repair options.
My A/C still did not work after the service, and I will not use this company again.
Had my tankless water heater replaced by PR Plumbing and couldn’t be happier. Cody was the one who came out, he was punctual, friendly, and easy to work with. He walked me through everything and made the whole process painless.
Here’s the part that matters if you’re price shopping like I was: they came in at half the cost of one of the biggest names in the valley. Half. Same job, same quality work.
Do yourself a favor and just call these guys.

This company was dispatched by my home warranty. First off they never called me, and I had to call them after waiting 3 business days, I felt as if I was brushed off, and there was no concern for the lack of contact. Then the techs come out Rocky and Ruben, who were chatty and friendly. The water heater issue was explained, and all was well, or so we thought! We received a notice from our insurance that the tech stated he could not diagnose the water heater because all the gas had been turned off which is FALSE! We had PG&E disconnect JUST the water heater for safety, not the entire gas line. Perhaps if the tech actually checked he would have known, or even asked for clarification. I notified my insurance who was apologetic and dispatched out another company, since this one didn’t even bother to call or actually check the issue, BUT did state that we would get a replacement. I know things happen, but writing up a false statement is just wrong! I also removed the sign from my yard! Hopefully they get better service techs, and representatives who ACTUALLY call to schedule your appointment!

UPDATE: I wanted to update my original review because PR Plumbing went above and beyond to make things right.
After my initial experience, the General Manager personally stepped in, took ownership of the situation, and immediately arranged for a technician to come out and complete the backflow test. What impressed me most was the communication. I received updates every step of the way, including a phone call once the work had been completed.
It's clear they genuinely care about their customers and their reputation. While mistakes can happen, it's how a company responds that truly matters. PR Plumbing responded quickly, professionally, and with excellent customer service. I really appreciate the effort the General Manager made to ensure everything was handled properly.
Thank you for turning a frustrating experience into a positive one. You've earned back my trust, and I wouldn't hesitate to use PR Plumbing again.
I had a very disappointing experience with PR Plumbing.
We scheduled a backflow test for Friday, July 3. The plumber came out but was unable to complete the test. Unfortunately, no one contacted me to let me know the work had not been completed. As a result, I spent an entire week believing the backflow test had been performed and submitted to the city.
After hearing nothing, I contacted BSI myself and confirmed that no backflow test had ever been submitted. I then reached out to PR Plumbing to express my frustration. They apologized and assured me they would have someone out today at 8:00 AM to complete the test.
When no one arrived, I called again at 11:30 AM to check on the status. That's when I was told the appointment had actually been scheduled to Monday, July 20, between 7:00 and 7:30 AM—a completely different day and time that I never agreed to and was never notified about.
The lack of communication throughout this entire process has been unacceptable. Had I not followed up myself, I would have continued assuming everything had been taken care of, potentially causing compliance issues. Reliability and communication are critical, especially for required services like backflow testing, and unfortunately PR Plumbing failed on both.
