We couldn’t be more happier with our new carpet. From start to finish Contract Carpet is exceptional. So very nice to also support a local business. Thank you Nick. Also thanks to carpet installer Adam who was on time, neat & professional.

Contract Carpet replaced my entire condo floors & stairways with beautiful Trucor LVP in Branch Oak color. The floors are gorgeous! I love it so much & wish I had bathrooms done now. Nick, Gail, April and team were fantastic to work with. They are so kind and patient working with me on scheduling this while I was busy moving from VA back to CA home. Highly recommend!

Does Contract Carpet use its own installers?
Contract Carpet employs both subcontractors and our own installation teams. Every installer working on your project is licensed, bonded, and insured. Our subcontractors maintain long-standing relationships with our company. We stand behind all of our installation work with a labor guarantee that lasts for as long as you own your home.
I am not looking to spend a lot Is Contract Carpet expensive?
We offer flooring options at various price points. The best way to receive the right price and quality for your needs is to share your specific requirements with us. Our inventory includes budget-friendly apartment-grade flooring, premium custom options, and a wide selection in between.
How do we get ready for new carpet installation?
Our installation team will handle moving large and heavy furniture. We ask that homeowners or tenants remove linens from beds, relocate breakable items on or inside furniture, disconnect computers and electronics, clear books from bookcases, and remove all items from closet floors.
How often should we clean our carpet?
Carpet should be professionally cleaned every 18 months to maintain warranty coverage. Should you need to file a claim, manufacturers will require documentation of professional cleaning services.
What method of carpet cleaning is recommended?
Hot water extraction, commonly referred to as steam cleaning, is the only cleaning method endorsed by carpet manufacturers.
How long can we expect our new floor covering to last?
The lifespan of flooring depends on several factors, including installation environment, foot traffic volume, and maintenance frequency including vacuuming, sweeping, and cleaning. Tile flooring can last indefinitely, though design trends may date its appearance over time. Properly maintained hardwood flooring can also last a lifetime. Active households may need refinishing every 7 years, while homes with light use and no pets may never require refinishing. Carpet typically remains in homes for 7 to 10 years before replacement.
How high off the slab should we install baseboards?
Installing baseboards approximately 3/8 inch above the slab is the standard recommended practice.
What is the time frame from order date to installation date?
In-stock items can be installed within one to two days. Products ordered from the manufacturer typically take seven to ten days.
What is the most family-friendly carpet?
The best carpet for families features solution dyed nylon with integrated stain resistance, combined with high twist and high-density construction.
