  We recently had a blockage in our main sewer line, and in a panic, we first called Roto Hero. We spoke to an AI receptionist, and unfortunately, our experience quickly turned into one with the "Roto Villains." After a camera inspection, they verbally told us we'd need to replace our entire main drain line for upwards of $12,000, yet they refused to provide a written estimate. Wanting a second opinion, I called Downey Plumbing & Heating, and from the moment a friendly, real person answered the phone i wish i caught her name she was so kind and professional as well, I knew we were in better hands. They scheduled someone to come out right away. Juan was absolutely fantastic! He was professional, honest, and reassuring. Within minutes, he diagnosed the actual problem, and in less than 15 minutes he had our drain snaked and flowing perfectly again. He saved us from an unnecessary and incredibly expensive repair. It's refreshing to find a company that values honesty and integrity over trying to sell work that isn't needed. I can't recommend Downey Plumbing & Heating enough. If you need a trustworthy plumber, ask for Juan—you'll be glad you did!

  I was surprised I got a same day appointment. Marcos was great, he was friendly knowledgeable and very determined to fix the problem. If I ever need plumbing services again I will definitely request him again. .
