Awesome experience compared to any other HVAC in the area. They were thoroughly professional, on time and great value. Erika especially worked very hard to get our well-deserved heat pump rebate and team worked well to get everything done and the area was clean after the big install thru our master closet. Big Kudos to the entire team: our Consultant was Daniel, Project Coordinator Erika and our installation team was Elijah and Wilson.

We had a wonderful experience with Qualtech, which advised us and installed two Carrier low-NOx furnaces in out attic. Daniel talked us through our options and ultimately helped us select the appropriate equipment for our needs. Elijah and Erie did a really great job during the install and went above and beyond. Erika coordinated the entire job and was incredibly helpful and knowledgable on the phone and via email.
Qualtech was recommended to us by experts in the HVAC industry as a very honest company with great training and service. My experience with them confirms they deserve this outstanding reputation.
Thank you Qualtech team.

We are very happy to alert the public to what a great company Qualtech Heating and Cooling is! Finally decided to get a modern mini-split system and was expertly guided by the owner, Daniel. He had such patience coming out several times to reassure us of the correct placement of each unit. Their project coordinator, Erika Thompson, kept our permit and paperwork in order, while continually communicating with us. She was a super star, always available to answer any questions and helping with rebates! Myriam Rios made sure our contract was correct and on time. The real stars of the show were Elijah and Wilson, the installers. They went the extra mile, making sure the connections were protected and safely installed in difficult areas. The unit outside blended perfectly with a great paint job (thank you Eika for making sure they had the correct paint). Qualtech has put together an incredible team and makes loyal fans of their clients! Thank you Daniel, Myriam, Erika, Elijah, and Wilson. Great job, The McCanns.

GREAT EXPERIENCE start to finish! I recently had to have my entire furnace, air conditioner and ducts replaced. I had two other local companies out for estimates before Qualtech, one of which rescheduled a few times before actually making it out--not a good sign. The rep for Qualtech was on time, was very thorough with his information, and provided a very competitive quote. Work was started just a few days later. The entire project was completely quickly and flawlessly. They were meticulous about cleanup. The entire staff is amazingly polite, friendly and informative. I'm so happy with the new system, it works great and is much quieter than my old units. Will absolutely recommend them.
Frequently Asked Questions About Qualtech Heating & Cooling
Are all air filters the same?
No, there are a variety of sizes and types available and it is important to select the right size for your system. You should also look at the filter's rating. A high rating removes more particles from the air, but some can restrict airflow.
Once you have the right filter, make sure to change it regularly.
Do I need to schedule regular maintenance?
Yes, regular maintenance is essential to keeping your HVAC equipment running all year long. Routine maintenance helps prevent breakdown, ensures reliable performance, optimizes energy efficiency and maximizes your equipment's lifespan.
How can I eliminate odors in my home?
Odors in your home can have a variety of sources, including air ducts. Dirt, dust, mold and other debris in your ducts can create a stale, musty odor in the air.
Air Scrubbers can help improve your indoor pet, cooking odors and more!
How can I know if my indoor air is dangerous?
If you've noticed that your allergy or respiratory symptoms go away when you're out of the house, then return when you're back home, this can be an indicator of an indoor air quality issue.
Indoor air quality can be contaminated by:
- Dust
- Humidity levels that are too high or low
- Miscellaneous pollutants
- Mold or mildew
- New carpeting, paint or furniture
- Pet dander
- Smoking
- The presence of chemicals
How often should I change my air filter?
It varies, depending on the manufacturer's specifications. Usually, it is recommended that the filter is changed monthly, especially during heavy use seasons.
Are noises a common issue with HVAC units?
Noises can be a signal that something is wrong with your system. If you hear thumping, squealing, banging, rattling, rumbling, hissing, or frequent clicking, contact us right away.
What are the causes of poor indoor air quality?
Poor air quality can be attributed to contaminants such as particles in the air or chemicals. The issue is made worse thanks to inadequate ventilation, leaky ducts or activities such as smoking in the house.
What is a zoning system?
A zoning system has one HVAC system designed to provide heating and cooling to different zones of the house. Dampers are installed in the duct system to redirect air to the specific areas it is needed. Separate thermostats are used to control the temperature in each zone as well.
What causes ductwork to pop?
Popping noises can be caused by movement in the ducts when airflow causes a sudden temperature change. This can be a sign that your duct system is undersized for your home.
An undersized duct system may also cause issues with leaky ducts and reduced airflow. This can cause mold growth and decreased indoor air quality.
Why is my air conditioner freezing?
This can be attributed to insufficient air flow, dirty evaporator coils, low refrigerant level, motor malfunction, or blocked vents and registers, among other causes.
Are all air filters the same?

Yes, regular maintenance prevents breakdowns, ensures reliable performance, optimizes energy efficiency, and extends your equipment's lifespan.
How can I eliminate odors in my home?
Odors can stem from dirt, dust, mold, or debris in air ducts. Installing Air Scrubbers can help reduce pet, cooking, and other odors.
How do I know if my indoor air quality is hazardous?
If allergy or respiratory symptoms lessen when away from home and return indoors, poor indoor air may be the cause. Contaminants include dust, humidity issues, mold, chemicals, pet dander, smoking, and new furnishings.
What are the common causes of poor indoor air quality?
Contaminants like particles, chemicals, inadequate ventilation, leaky ducts, and indoor activities such as smoking can degrade air quality.
Why is regular air filter replacement important, and how often should I do it?
