  Building an outdoor kitchen and adding a pergola to our backyard had been on our "wishlist" for over five years. We built our pool in 2021 and had it plumbed for an outdoor kitchen, but decided to hold off on finishing the project at the time. Fast forward a few years, and we finally decided it was time. We started asking around for recommendations, and Greg's name came up more than once. We reached out, sent him our rough (ChatGPT-generated 😅) ideas, and within a few days he was at our house taking measurements. We talked through exactly what we were envisioning, and within a day or two we had both a detailed drawing and a quote. He also connected us with a company that specializes in outdoor kitchens-they were fantastic to work with. They helped us maximize our budget, recommended appliances, and even created a digital rendering of the finished kitchen so we could really picture everything before construction started. Throughout the entire project, Greg's communication was excellent. We always knew when his crew would be there, he was on-site regularly, and he was always available to answer any questions. Even though the plumbing that had been installed years earlier wasn't perfect, Greg worked with what was there and made everything come together exactly how we had imagined. He even suggested adding a griddle (something we hadn't originally considered), and we already know it's going to be one of our favorite features. What impressed us most was his attention to detail. He took the initiative to contact our pool builder to find the exact stone that had been used on our spa and fire pit so everything would match perfectly. He also recommended doing a cast-in-place concrete countertop instead of a prefabricated countertop so it would blend seamlessly with the rest of the backyard. Those details made all the difference—the finished kitchen looks like it was always meant to be part of the original design, not something added years later. The pergola went up incredibly quickly, the electrical was completed for our fan and lighting, and every detail was finished with care. You can tell Greg takes a lot of pride in his work and genuinely enjoys creating outdoor spaces that families will enjoy for years to come. We couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. If you're looking for someone who communicates well, takes pride in his work, and genuinely cares about getting every detail right, we'd recommend Greg without hesitation. We're already looking forward to making memories out here with our family for years to come.

  Greg and the crew did an awesome job.. concrete pathway around the house now allows my son's wheelchair to have more access to the backyard.. FYI Greg the Bobcat came and checked out the work..

  I recently received a quote from Greg at Sunset for a decent sized (2,300 sqft) concrete project. After reviewing the estimate I asked him how much it would cost to add in some expansion joints. He then questioned me on why I think I need expansion joints. I responded nicely and told him why I felt like it was important. Granted I am a Civil Engineer, so I know a little bit about concrete. This was then his response: “Thank you for your Google information. I am well aware of what expansion joints are for and know that they are totally unnecessary in our California climate. You should research what part of the country your information is coming from to know that you don’t need them. Secondly, we are not pouring concrete during the heat of summer unless you’re procrastinating your project until then. This is an excellent time to pour concrete and give it plenty of time to cure.” Everyone should be aware of this customer service. In addition to this lovely email exchange he felt the need to smoke a cigarette while he was at my house discussing and measuring for the estimate.

  Greg and his crew does outstanding work. Greg came out to my property multiple times and worked within my budget constraints. His vision is really outstanding. All I really wanted was plain concrete pad. Not only did he show me what we could do but it came out cheaper than I anticipated. The end result is a beautiful pad with flowing walkways and stamped concrete. You will not be disappointed with Greg’s vision and work ethic
