  Return customer. Had a problem with my heater not working. Paid the $100 to have someone come out and look at it. Technician tinkered around with the thermostat checked some wires, tested some connections said it was our thermostat, and that all we had to do was buy a new thermostat of the same make and model, and switch out the face plate with the new one, should fix the problem. Sweet, done deal. Paid the guy. Everything went well. Ordered new thermostat, got the new thermostat in the mail, switch out the face plate. Nothing. Pushed a few buttons, waited. Heard the thermostat click, but the heater didn't turn on. Weird. Called Bob's told the lady in the phone what was going on. She tells me it's sounds like a blown fuse, because I didn't turn of the power before switching out the faceplate. She said it was going to cost another $100 to send out a tech to see which fuse I blew. Because it was my fault for not turning off the power. Mind you the technician never said the power needed to be off, and he didn't switch of the powerto work on the heating system while he was at my house. I told them that I didn't feel that was right. They told me it was policy, because their technician didn't change out the faceplate. I told them I would take my business elsewhere, because I wasn't willing to give them anymore of my money. Next day, my husband decided to look at the wiring to see if it was a simple fix because he didn't think it was a blown fuse. Turns out their technician put a wire back in a wrong spot. My husband put it back in the correct spot, and the heater turned on just fine. They wanted to charge me another $100 to fix their Technicians error, claiming I blew a fuse. They lost a customer over a stupid mistake they didn't want to take responsibility for. Edit to add the Owner did teach out to take responsibility, and made amends. He clarified there was a misunderstanding on their end, and it was being addressed on their end. I appreciate their efforts to make amends.

  Everyone and Bob's was profesional inc the office phoning and updating Scott's arrival. Scott was cordial professional and informative. The only issue was we were unable to ultimately fix the problem of the furnace tripping off on over temp before reaching it's set temperature. I am not sure what my next move will be.

  Scott was very polite. We have two separate systems and he took the time to do each one thoroughly. We have used Bob's Air Repair for many years and trust them with our systems.
