  We had an all around great experience with THE Water Heater Company. Aside from the hassle, the thing I hate most about home repairs is that constant worry about whether you’re being ripped off or if the person will do a good job. That’s what made this experience so great. Their website is great and lets you view your options ahead of time all with very upfront, transparent pricing. Scheduling was very easy and they are willing to come out and take care of things at the drop of a hat without any kind of surge pricing. The office is very communicative and you get helpful text, phone or email updates about your tech’s arrival or if anything isn’t going to plan. I only had to call the office once and they were friendly, clear and helpful. Our tech Zack was very patient, upfront and honest. He went through our options and clearly explained and answered questions about what would work best for our family and home. We ended up choosing a different system than we intended but that would be the best, most efficient option for our situation because of Zak’s expertise and knowledge. That really seems to be the company’s goal and there was no pressure to upsell. I wish they did more than water heaters but I think that’s what makes them great. They’ve chosen one important need and have become (fair and efficient) experts at it. We would recommend them to anyone and would use them again without question.

  Zach was very professional and easy to talk to and I couldn’t be more happy with the work, He did replacing my water heater. After talking to two other companies, I found that the price was fair and comparable to other companies. I was still surprised at the price but very pleased with my experience. I would recommend them to anyone that needs a new hot water heater.

  Josh was great to work with. Helped me understnd the whole inspection and flushing process. I thought at first the $245 was high because I could hook up a drain hose myself. Not true. This flushing process was more complex than I expected. Worth the price and thank you Zach (very nice pre visit discussion) and Josh for his expertise and good nature. Josh even wore booties every time he came into the house.

  I called a plumbing company on a Saturday hoping we could get a hold of them to replace our water heater. Our garage was flooded. The Water Heater Company called back and Zach told me that he would send one of his guys out after they had finished their other job. The service guy whose name is Shawn was absolutely amazing. Professional, courteous, knowledgeable and his work ethic was outstanding. He did a wonderful job. I cannot thank him enough for his service. This company is by far the best I have had. Our water heater was only 5 years old and it goes out. Unacceptable! Don’t buy Rheem!!!! I would give 10 stars if I could to this company. Thank you. 😊

  We had another company out to inspect our tankless water heater. It seemed to be operating fine, albeit a little slow to heat the water. The system wasn’t new but still in the expected life of the unit. The heat exchanger had some corrosion and the tech was hesitant to try to clean it as he didn’t want to create a leak. Because it was installed by the previous owners the heat exchanger was out of warranty. So he offered multiple options: replace the heat exchanger, replace the unit, or replace the unit & add a whole home water softener system. All of which just seemed excessively priced. Decided to get a 2nd opinion, did some research, looked up the manufacturer website and when The Water Heater Company was on both my list and in their Contractor directory, I called and set up the appt. Zak came out a few days later (I think 2). He inspected the system and confirmed there was corrosion and gave real options: try to clean it, but it may force a replacement. The he explained what a replacement system would run and why we didn’t need the expensive option. I appreciated the way he was up front and didn’t try to upsell. We added on the 10 year service plan so we know we have a company that we trust coming out to keep it running smoothly.
