- LBLeroy Bosanko4 days ago1.0A few months ago, I had Monarch replace/repair 6 smoke detectors. I was charged $900.00 for about 2 hours of work time. The smoke detectors they used cost about $15.00 each, which totals $90.00. That leaves $810.00 labor for two hours. I have made several requests for an itemized invoice, but to no avail. I therefore advise anyone thinking of using Monarch to be wary.

But when I finally was ready to have them come to my home and check out the AC unit they worked with me on scheduling. Ray and Jose arrived and were very polite and professional. I explained what my purpose in having them do the inspection. They got right to it. They explained clearly and concisely what they found and asked pertinent questions. Jose got busy on the roof cleaning what he could. Ray worked up estimates for the ductwork. Once I chose the option the paperwork for the financing went quickly. Both men were respectful of my property and pleasant to interact with. New ductwork installation will start in 2 days!

My kitchen and dining rooms are blazing hot. But my living room is freezing. Closed living room vent and still no air in the other two rooms. They are out to make big money, that’s it!!!

After speaking to one of the managers I was able to get a refund back in regards to the situation. They did resolve my problem.
