Only had an service call, as decided to go else where for work
Then received numerous invoices for maintenance, work not performed, preventative maintenance…
They need a better accounting system
Would not call them again..
service person did not have answers with out calling someone on phone..
Weird…
JR came, explained everything really well & why such repairs were necessary, he was very courteous and made sure he left my house the same way he found it (vacuuming the insulation dirt that dropped from the attic, etc.) My AC troubles costed me a lot more than I wanted, but hoping such repairs will extend the longevity of my old system...
OK LATER UPDATE: I did look up the cost of some of the items they charged me for. I knew there was a markup. BUT DAMMMMM, I got gouged. Guess I am going to learn how to be handy.
Still like JR though. JR gets 5/5 stars. The company 2/5.

Daniel was very professional and explained that my system was in danger of failure. He showed me all of the readings that would indicate this. I chose not to move ahead with any work at this time and he very professionally advised that without this work the system could fail unexpectedly and leave us without air conditioning. I still chose to waive the work and he left all of the paperwork and how to contact the company should the system fail. Great job Daniel!
John was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Explained everything he was doing and checking as he went along and answered any questions I had. Was very transparent and not once did he try to upsell me. Simply told me what would get me back up and running while also explaining other issues he saw that we had already known about due to a horrible few years of dealing with a previous hvac company. Couldn’t recommend John more

A Dial One Sonshine tech showed up under a Veteran Air appointment and used aggressive upsell tactics from the moment he arrived. He argued code with me, insisted a float switch was “required,” and pushed multiple add‑ons.
He charged $109 for a basic 5‑inch paper filter, and only made it fit by removing the original filter rails/bracket — a simple modification that took a few minutes but was presented like major work.
The drain clog was also priced far higher than necessary. The nitrogen flush alone was $329, which is well above normal industry pricing for a standard condensate line clearing.
The final bill was $867 for a drain flush, float switch, and filter — all significantly inflated. The leak was fixed, but the pressure, misrepresentation, and Sonshine‑level pricing were not acceptable. Be cautious if you’re expecting Veteran Air service but receive a Sonshine technician instead.
