Jake and Michael did a great job. They were on time and explained what they needed to do and fixed my stopped up sink. I definitely recommend them.

I wish I could share the same 5-star experience that so many other customers here have had. In fact, reading the reviews makes my experience even more disappointing. We called Dymek’s for a washing-machine drain backup. Their invoice says the technician snaked the drain approximately 40 feet, “cleared the blockage,” and ran two washer cycles without further backup. We were charged $618.65: $205 for drain cleaning, another $275 for labor, and another $137.50 for a helper/second man. Unfortunately, immediately after the service, when the washing machine was actually used again, the same laundry drain backup occurred. The problem we paid $618.65 to address had not been resolved. During the visit, their camera found heavy grease buildup farther down the shared kitchen/laundry line and could not get past approximately 23 feet. We were then quoted an additional $900 for the first hour of hydro-jetting, plus $450 for EACH additional hour. What makes the pricing especially difficult for me to understand is comparing my experience with other reviews posted here. I see 5-star customers reporting $200–$300 for drain work, including a weekend emergency involving two technicians and a complicated drain blockage that was successfully cleared. Another reviewer reports $200–$300 for rerouting a leaking pipe through a wall. Others report $400–$500 for plumbing work and $600–$800 for installation of an entirely new toilet. I’m genuinely envious of those customers because their reviews describe prices that seem commensurate with the work performed—and, most importantly, problems that were actually resolved. By comparison, we paid $618.65 for a drain-clearing visit where the same backup immediately returned, only to then be told the line needed another service starting at $900. I also still do not understand the billing structure. If $205 was the charge for “Drain Cleaning,” what exactly did the separate $275 labor charge cover? How many hours of labor did that represent? And why was another $137.50 helper/second-man charge necessary? None of that is itemized on the invoice. I have no issue paying a fair price for professional plumbing work, and I recognize that every plumbing job is different. My issue is paying $618.65 for an attempted drain clearing that did not resolve the problem, followed immediately by a recommendation for another service costing $900 or more. Based on my experience, I strongly recommend asking for a fully itemized, all-in price and getting competing quotes before authorizing work.

Jake went above and beyond his scope and duty to find the leak at my house. It was a very unique situation and it was very difficult to find. He kept trying and trying and was very determined. Any other plumber would’ve said “I don’t know where it is. I don’t know if there’s a leak and I give up.” But not Jake. He kept working so hard and finally found it in the end. He is the best.

Highly recommend this company! They did a great job and were very reliable, honest and professional. Aaron was especially great to work with, he took care of my clogged pipes. What really impressed me was that they didn't just do the work and walk away-Chris held the city's work accountable when the city's work wasn't done properly. They truly went above an beyond to make sure the issue was resolved the right way. Thank you to all at Dymeks Freedom Plumbing.
