  I purchased a mini split from ApooDr and self-installed. The purchase experience was quick and easy. The unit I bought came with a bundled lineset that I had originally planned to use for the installation. I ran into an issue where I wanted to change the installation and cut the line to improve the fitment. It was then that I discovered that the bundled lines were metric sized and my flaring tool would not hold them to make a new flare. I had to pause my installation and go get new copper lines. If you are planning to self-install, I'd suggest either making sure your flare tool has a metric and standard block or just make your own lines with standard size refrigerant lines. Overall, I'm very happy and I'm glad I made my own lines because I was able to get the exact installation I wanted.

  We’ve used AproDr AC systems for years and they’ve always been reliable and high quality. Cooling performance is great, very quiet, and energy efficient. We recently installed another AproDr system for our new project and it works perfectly. Definitely recommend AproDr for both homes and ADU projects!
