I first called Rite Way to repair a non-functioning HVAC in Decemeber of 2025. Since then, they've sent 4 different technicians and also no-showed twice. Over 8 months later, the repair still hasn't been completed, though it's been paid for. I repeatedly call and they say they don't have information to share with me and that they will escalate the issue to operations and I should receive a call back in 24-48 hours with an update. They never call back. The only reason I've allowed this to go on so long and have not found another company, is I already paid for the service. There are many competent HVAC companies in Tucson. I recommend you steer clear of Riteway.

We were very pleased with the service from Lorenzo and Wayne from RiteWay Cooling & Heating. They worked diligently to install in the new HVAC System on Tuesday 8/25/26. They were professional and answered all of our questions. I will definitely refer them to friends and family.
In addition I would like to also include Bill Grant the Project Manager for RiteWay as being professional and providing us with detailed information prior to installation of the HVAC System. He answered all of our questions. The new HVAC System is working beautifully. Thank you again.
I would also like to include David Feldman from RiteWay Cooling & Heating. He was the first person to arrive and check the AC function. He was very professional and prompt to provide us with a few options for repairing or new installations. He immediately set up an appointment with their Project Manager Bill Grant to provide us with detailed information, which we were so grateful. Great customer service from David, Bill, Lorenzo, and Wayne!! Thank you.

Im 65 with our 5 year old granddaughter living with us. Monday early am our AC died. Call Rite Way and tried to buy a new one to be installed that day. Temps were over 100. Was told a project manager had to come to the house but they could do an emergency repair. Technician came and had to order a part. Cost 1500.00. Part put in Wednesday and AC worked for ten minutes. Had to argue with their office to get them to send the credit application via email but they kept telling me that's not their policy. Finally got the email and link would not work. Wednesday morning another company graciously stepped in and by evening I had a new AC installed. Called Hector the project manager for Riteway telling him the 1500 motor was preserved and I wanted reimbursement. He hung up on me. Rite way is an unethical company that is too concerned about following policy instead of servicing customers. We will be taking them to court to get our money back

We are delighted to share our experience with Rite Way. Our air and heating system at 15 yrs old was giving its final effort. After investigating other outlets, we settled on R/W for relief. Representative Luis gave two hours
of in home Q &A. Our stress level was greatly relieved by his thorough explanation from A to Z including city permits and in our case , the replacement of the supply and return air ducts under the house both fifty plus ft long,
of the various manufacturers of a/c units, we chose the Lennox brand.
A big hand of applause to Damien and Reyes
For their professionalism and skillful work. They worked in above 💯 temps.
The removal of the old unit, the confident crane operator, made the RandR a breeze. The disposal of all old “stuff “ was clean , swift and complete. Financing will be handled via Wells Fargo. Would we recommend Rite Way to others?A big yes.
Thanks Rite Way, you folks are definitely on our “Go To List”

Very disappointed with the lack of pricing transparency.
I recently received a proposal from Rite Way for an HVAC installation and had several questions regarding how the quoted price was determined. My concern was not about the quality of their equipment or whether professional installation has value. My concern was whether the price being presented was reasonable and consistent with fair market value for the actual scope of work.
I specifically requested greater transparency regarding the labor, materials, quantities, equipment, and overhead and profit included in the proposal. Instead of providing meaningful supporting details, I was repeatedly told that their internal costs, labor rates, supplier pricing, overhead, and profit margins are “proprietary” and that they only provide a lump-sum project price.
I understand that a company does not have to disclose its confidential financial information. However, there is a difference between protecting proprietary business information and providing enough information for a customer to reasonably evaluate a significant purchase.
What concerned me most was the explanation of the overhead and profit component. Based on the scope presented to me, this appeared to be a relatively straightforward, single-trade HVAC installation. I questioned why the stated overhead and profit percentage was appropriate for this particular project, but I was not provided with a meaningful explanation beyond the general value of their service.
The issue for me is that when the quantities, labor, material pricing, and other components of a proposal cannot be independently evaluated, it becomes very difficult to determine whether the lump-sum price is actually representative of fair market value or includes substantial markups.
I am not saying a contractor should work without making a profit. I am saying that a customer making a significant investment should be able to ask reasonable questions about the price without being told that the information needed to evaluate it is proprietary.
Ultimately, the lack of transparency left me uncomfortable with the proposal and unwilling to move forward without being able to better understand how the price was justified. I would strongly recommend getting multiple quotes and asking very specific questions about scope, quantities, labor, materials, and additional charges before committing to a large HVAC purchase.
