  Scheduled my annual tune up, took off work to be there, and absolutely NO ONE showed up or sent me any kind of notification. FOUR HOURS LATER I received a texted message letting me know they weren't going to make the appointment. Several minutes after that I received an email saying that I canceled my appointment. Unbelievably unprofessional. Why am I paying the monthly service fee???? Total waste of money.

  Johann is hands down the best technician I could have asked for! He was incredibly thorough, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. He answered every question I had and made sure I fully understood what was going on. His professionalism and attention to detail really stood out, and the level of service he provided was exceptional. I truly appreciate the time and care he put into helping me. Absolutely amazing service. I highly recommend Johann!

  I added foam insulation and fire barrier to the door and wanted the spring tension checked for the new weight. I had also heard some clanking on the door before that. This was my first time using A1 and thier tech was pleasant, answered all my questions, and provided sound advice. They did a great job with my garage door service and I would definitely use them again.

  I would highly suggest against using A1. I had a technician come out to fix a broken spring on a Saturday night. Thought everything was fixed until the next morning when my garage door was not working correctly. I tried calling all day Sunday and left messages, but never got a call back. For a 24/7 company, it’s seems like no one works or pays attention to their messaging system on Sundays. I finally called back several times on Monday and after much discussion, was able to get someone sent out the following day. Customer care originally said it would be two days. Apparently after paying to having my garage door fixed and it still not working, it is not a priority for them. Technician came out the next day and said they couldn’t fix anything and to call customer care. Called customer care again and they initially said it would be two days before someone could come out until then agreeing to send someone the next day. 3rd technician arrived and said he could not fix it and to call customer care again. 4th technician finally came out and fixed the problem with a strut on the garage door (another $180 spent). This was after almost a week of not having properly working garage door. A1 was the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my life. I had to go back and forth between technicians and customer service for almost a week and no one seemed to care that my garage door had not been fixed for close to a week after paying them money. I asked to speak to a supervisor multiple times and was never able to and no one called me back. I will never use this company again and I would advise anyone looking for garage door repair to look elsewhere.
