- JMJohn MarroneSep 1, 20261.0rand new unit failed in less than a week—unacceptable service and quality control I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my brand new Trane system. It is less than one week old, and the fan motor has already completely failed. To make matters worse, I am now being told that I have to wait a full week just to get a replacement part. Paying a premium price for a brand that markets itself on reliability, only to have it break down immediately and leave me without climate control for seven days, is completely unacceptable. A brand-new system should not have a critical component fail within days, and customers should not be forced to suffer through long wait times for parts that should have worked in the first place. Trane needs to step up their quality control and expedite parts for defective new installs immediately.
