Beware. Very pushy sales tactics. They say they need to come out to do an estimate, but I now know that for my job (and another estimate I needed), they could've told me over the phone, or given me a ballpark (I sent a photo in advance). They come out to sell you a membership and scare you into doing additional work. As far as I can tell at this point, the major work I had done is fine, but the smaller job had issues. When I contacted my tech (sales guy), Brandon about it, he just threw random solutions at me rather than fully reading my text and answering appropriately. It took several texts back and forth to clear it up (a pet peeve of mine). Single ladies who don't know much about the mechanics portions of your home, if you're going to use them, educate yourself before they show up and get at least one other estimate. I feel a little preyed upon and I bet I paid too much. I feel stupid and that that will never happen again. Lesson learned.

2 Stars in my opinion is generous. Bought a new AC for my home after having issues with the existing central air, did the usual 4+ quotes on getting the system installed we went with a middle of the road option not the most $ quote but not the cheapest. System has a 5 year warranty from the manufacturer (night and day) and 5 year from Collins. What they do not tell you at any point is that the warranty does not cover labor, and boy do they charge a premium for labor on a warranty fix. 3 years in the fan motor on the Condenser outside dies. I call them to come out takes 3 days to get them to come out. I'm told they do not have the part in stock and they do not have any temp motor they can put in on their truck, after the tech tells me he called his supervisor to find out if they could put a temp motor in. They have another tech come out at 5PM the next day to replace the motor with a temp one and that it will be 5-10 days for the replacement part to come in. It's been a month and only after calling 4 times to talk to someone about what is taking so long do they tell me that the motor is no longer made by the manufacturer so they have to get an "OEM equivalent" part ordered to replace it. What kind of company sells a Central AC system that is discontinued by the manufacturer within 3 years of the system being made?!?!?! Had I known then what I know now I would not have gone with this installer or this Manufacturer. I'm having to reach out to them at every missed commitment to find out where they have moved the goalpost. between the price of the system install and the almost $700 for "Labor" on a fan motor replacement that literally takes 45 minutes if I'm going EXTREMELY slow is crazy. Any future issue I have with the system I will probably go with a different service provider because the cost doesn't come close to the quality of work I would expect.

Collins Comfort Masters are the subcontractors with Costco. I trust Costco hence I trust that Collins Comfort Masters fulfils the same level of quality control that Costco requires to be a subcontractor with them. The contact person at Costco was very friendly, efficient and prompt to schedule an appointment. The salesperson arrived on time and was very professional. He presented the options available and just like the other companies that came before and after Collins, they had their sales strategies that lead you to purchase the highest priced, but also the most durable system. I did my research on what that specific unit would cost installed and it showed that the prices presented were inflated by all the companies, but Collins had by far the most affordable price than the rest. Collins' salesperson was also prepared with all the information about the discounts and rebates applicable to make a smooth purchase process. I am very satisfied with the whole process. Peace of mind is important, and I trust that Collins will be here if anything goes wrong. Their installers were also on time, somewhat friendly, but knowledgeable. The installer's supervisor came towards the end and made sure everything was going ok. They left the installation area as clean as they could and another company came to pick up the old unit soon after the installation was completed. I recommend Collins Comfort Masters.

We have been long time customers 20+ years. Our air went out on Wednesday, a tech came over that morning, diagnosed the issue, parts needed to be ordered and they could fix it on Friday. We; my daughter, her 6 kids and myself went to a hotel for a couple days. The tech came out Friday and worked on the air conditioner replaced the parts, acid washed the unit. The total was a little over $4200. I was also given a year warranty. Today at 4:30 my thermostat is showing an alert, and its back up to 86 degrees. I called Collins Comfort. I was told that I couldn't get a tech out here until tomorrow. I told them I needed somebody today being it was just supposed have been fixed. I have babies in the house and I don't have the money to go get a hotel again. I asked for a supervisor I was told none are available on the weekend and that I wouldn't hear back from one until Monday. So I asked for a refund and was told that there is a process for that being that the work had already been done. I said that the work wasnt done right. The tech couldn't answer any of my questions or concerns and kept giving me the I understand which is trash and shouldn't have even been said. So Im waiting for a tech tomorrow so they can fix it again. But they have lost a long time loyal customer. I will never give your company word of mouth recommendations again.

BEWARE- Unprovoked Hostility, Intimidation, and Hostile Behavior Over Warranty!! I have never experienced a service visit as unnerving and unacceptable as the one I had with this company. The HVAC technician arrived at my property hyper-aggressive and hostile right out of the gate—before any work had even begun. The situation exploded when I asked if the service was covered under my 20-year warranty. The office had explicitly informed me that everything was covered unless they called me prior to the visit to state otherwise. Instead of handling a basic policy question professionally, the technician became intensely agitated and aggressively demanded to see my physical contract. When I explained what the office told me and declined to hand over documents he shouldn't have needed, he completely lost his composure. He got directly in my face, raised his voice, and yelled, "I will not do it for free!" He was combative, demeaning, and turned what should have been a standard diagnostic into a terrifying confrontation in my own home. No customer should ever feel unsafe, cornered, or screamed at over a warranty question that the main office had already cleared. His behavior was completely unprovoked and wildly unprofessional. I strongly urge management to address this technician immediately. I will never allow him back on my property.
