  Extremely disappointed with the workmanship and, more importantly, the response when I asked Way Cool Plumbing to correct it. I hired Way Cool Plumbing to rough-in a master shower along with some relatively minor waste and supply-line modifications for new vanities. The original shower rough-in did not follow the design intent and left the fixture arrangement poorly coordinated and, in my opinion, unacceptable for a professionally installed custom shower. I raised the issue and gave Way Cool the opportunity to make it right. A manager/owner of the plumbing division personally came to the project with the crew specifically to address my concerns. Unfortunately, the first photo shows what they left after that “correction.” One of the primary issues was the location of the handheld shower connection. The design specifically required keeping the handheld/wand out of the soap niche. There was adequate room to locate the connection within the approximately 16-inch-wide plumbing column while maintaining the manufacturer’s recommended offset from the valve assembly. Instead, their installation placed the connection where it conflicted with the intended niche and compromised the design. The additional photos show the corrected installation and demonstrate that the plumbing could, in fact, be properly organized within the available space while respecting the design requirements. This was not an impossible condition or a lack-of-space problem. What bothers me most is not that mistakes were made—mistakes happen in construction. It is what happened after I identified them. I expected that bringing the issue to management would result in careful workmanship, accountability, and a proper correction. Instead, the manager/owner came to the site personally and still left me with work I considered substandard and that ultimately had to be corrected. That experience seriously undermined my confidence in the company. If leadership is personally involved in correcting disputed workmanship and this is the result they are willing to leave behind, it is difficult to expect their field employees to be held to a higher standard. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Way Cool Plumbing for detailed custom residential plumbing work.

  They replaced my AC unit 7 months ago, after 6 months there was a leak that damaged my ceiling. they came out and they mentioned that the Unit was not level which was the cause of the leak. They said they would have to come back to level the unit and after 4 weeks of neglecting the service, I had to reach out again and they said that I have to pay for their service fee even though it was installed incorrectly in the first place. They still have not leveled the AC unit which was the main issue and now I am left with a damaged ceiling and an issue that to this has not been fixed. The manager was very rude and unpleasant on the phone and I would not recommend this company to anybody!! they claimed that I had to go to the attic and inspect their work myself!!! ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY!!

  They did a great job. They did a lot of work for us (because we asked them to) and we really like how it all turned out ultimately. They found the clog in a random drain that was causing the air handler to drip. They fabricated 2 new air handler doors too so it’s way easier to change the filters now. They also then did a really thorough plumbing and HVAC inspection and maintenance, they drained our water heater and we ended up also replacing our whole upstairs AC with them as well since it was so old and inefficient. Richaard & Tate were both extremely awesome and knowledgeable. Their little recorded character on the phone when you call is funny too, makes calling less annoying.

  Richard did an amazing job. Extremely professional and extremely knowledgeable and he did a wonderful job evaluating the situation and provided a clear understanding and explanation of what the repair options are. Based upon him being professional and clear in explaining the overall options of why each repair option is something to consider, I did recommend we move forward with the repairs. This will make the overall system from working harder than more efficient and keeping the overall system and ducts clean. The amazing thing is that they are coming out tomorrow and the next day finishing all repairs. I’m so impressed. Thank you so very much for explaining everything and providing the options to move forward. I would recommend this company for all of your no nonsense review of your A/C system and heating system.

  I am a homeowner in Scottsdale, and I want to share my great experience with Way Cool Plumbing & Air company. On Sunday evening around 4:00 pm, I had not one, but two of my three thermostats shut off and show black screens. After trying to see if I could get them to work with no luck, I decided to call Way Cool. After only two rings a female voice came on and asked me for my name and what the call was for. By this time my family room and kitchen area temperature where already approaching 85 degrees. After a couple of minutes talking to the lady on the phone, I figured out it was not a live person. I became more irritated and hung up. I then proceeded to call another company where I could speak to a live person. After nearly 5 minutes on hold with an answering service, I was told to expect a service person to not get to me for several hours between 6 and 9 pm. I explained I had all my family (9 of us) over for dinner and the sooner the better. After 45 minutes my front doorbell rang and when I went to answer, it was a service man from Way Cool called Ping. I was surprised because I did not finish my call with them and hung up. Apparently, AI didn’t stop and somehow, someway, sent Ping to my home in less than an hour. Ping quickly and efficiently determined the problem and fixed it. My A/C was up and running and all in time for dinner and Way Cool saved the day. I now regret having hung up on AI Sally and happy she continued to get someone out to my home. As for Ping, he was pleasant, informative and efficient. All of this was done on a late Sunday afternoon during a 115 degree heat wave. I will definitely recommend Way Cool to help anyone even on a late hot weekend Sunday. Thank you, Way Cool, for your professional and timely help in avoiding what would have been a very uncomfortable family get-together.
