We had KOTA do Aeroseal on all three of our air-conditioning units last week. We figured our house is 26 years old and it was time to not only clean them, but ensure that there was no leakage and air not being wasted. The crew was extremely professional and courteous. They showed up on time, worked very hard and communicated very well and couldn’t have been a nicer bunch of people. They did a great job protecting our floors and keeping a very tidy workspace. We recommend them!
I didn’t even know that insulating the air duct runs in your attic was a thing. I had been thinking about adding insulation to my attic for quite some time. But when Knights of the Attic reps explained that you should insulate the ducting instead of adding more insulation I was intrigued. From Sean who came out and did the preliminary inspection and explained how you can keep the air cooler to the vents by insulating the ducts, to Alexander and Kori who did the installation, every step was awesome. Alex kept us up to date on progress and he and Kori works so hard in our very hot attic. I wasn’t expecting to notice a difference right away, but, the front bedroom was a hot box. Now, just after they left I can actually feel the cold air in that room. Before you had to put your hand up near the vent to feel it. Now just standing in the middle of the room I can feel the air and it cold. My wife and I are amazed. I’m looking forward to seeing how much money I save on air conditioning.
I recommend Sean, Alex and Kori highly. Great representatives of this company. I recommended Knights of the Attic for your attic needs.

My advice is to get other bids, and if you do choose Knights, check their work before paying the balance.
I ordered a "custom" package - insulated duct armor, return and supply ducts and reinstall ducts, full attic insulation - for a 1575 sq ft home, cost of $9,600.
The first team was there on 6.10 for 6 hours and they fell completely through the carport ceiling - twice. I was told it was my responsibility to arrange repair with their drywall 3rd party, which I did. Later arranged again another repair for the interior ceiling damage, taking time off work.
Having lost trust, i had a licensed contractor inspect the attic after i was told the job was complete. The insulation had only been partially sprayed in. The install supervisor advised that carports do not get insulated and that the carport had no previous insulation. I sent pictures showing the old insulation in carport - which is contiguous with main house. I insisted that the job be completed as had been agreed upon, and was advised by 2 licensed contractors. A second team was sent out and finished the attic.
While waiting for second drywall repair to be completed on 6.26, I opened mail to find a preliminary lien on the property notice initiated by Knights. I contacted VP of operations who said this was routine and "in the contract" but not to be concerned. I told him i never leave reviews, but in this case i would need to leave a review. This was the first time he offered a phone contact to discuss the job that had been done, which i declined.

Sean and Forrest were professional, respectful, and communicative throughout the evaluation. I initially contacted Knights of the Attic about installing a garage attic fan, and they conducted a comprehensive evaluation of my home, clearly explaining their findings and recommendations.
Based on their assessment, I decided to move forward with Aeroseal, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. Not only did the duct leakage numbers improve significantly, increasing the efficiency of my HVAC system, but the amount of dust in my home has also decreased dramatically.
When some insulation fell from the attic access during the evaluation, they promptly cleaned everything up before leaving. I highly recommend Knights of the Attic to anyone looking to improve their home’s comfort, air quality, and energy efficiency.
Jamaine, Joseph, and Alex did a fabulous job with the duct and attic insulation, as well as the installation of new return and repair of the existing return. This is hard and hot work. When they arrived, they covered everything very well to minimize debris and worked expeditiously and carefully to complete the job. They are very respectful and we appreciate the hard work by the entire Knights of The Attic team (Shane, Summer, Miranda, Josh, another nice gentleman, Jamaine, Joseph, and Alex) have been fabulous. They communicated well, outlined what we should expect, consistently met their timelines, outlined the advantages of their solutions, and offered excellent financing options. The updates will extend the life of our AC unit, keep our home consistently cool in each room, reduce our electric bill, and we won't have to replace ductwork! Thank you for everything.
