  We thought our water softening system was leaking, turns out it was a pipe in the wall with a tiny hole that appears to have been spraying a mist of water since before we bought the house. The tech, Anthony, fixed the leak fast and gave us some good advice on how to handle the mold and water damage it caused. We thought we were in for something really serious but were pleasantly surprised when it was all taken care of within a couple hours.

  Austin was our Senior HVAC Service Representative and he was very thorough and knowledgeable. He was able to troubleshoot a few issues that we were having with the system temperature control through the thermostat settings that were pre-programmed incorrectly. He also balanced a few dampers for us and did a thorough maintenance service of our Cooling System with helpful recommendations. We will absolutely request Austin again for our next service appointment. He was very professional & personable and you could tell that he took pride in his work. Lastly, he was very conscientious of ladder placement etc. inorder to not damage walls, furniture etc. We can't say enough about our experience with him and he represents Hobaica very well.

  Outstanding service. Austin and Ed were polite, knowledgeable, and up to the challenge of figuring out what the previous A/C guy couldn’t. They had our unit up and running again in less than two hours. I signed up for the yearly maintenance service and look forward to a long relationship with the company.

  Do not use this company. They are way overpriced and don't care how much they destroy your home while they are working in it. Very very unprofessional from the top all the way to the bottom. Especially the top. Again watch out for these guys. They are professional thieves. A month has gone by now. Still waiting for Andy to call us. Another lie. This company is bad. Do not fall for the B.S. that comes out of their mouths.

  Context: Iron sewer outlet pipe from kitchen sink to main line collapsed. Team started strong, initial analysis and demo went as expected, but then they left a big pit in my kitchen and a hole in an exterior brick wall for over a week and I had to call them multiple times to get back on their schedule to finish the job. We had to keep that room tarped over and fully air-sealed to keep the elements out. The thing that REALLY pissed me off was getting two calls mid-week from their front/accounting office asking me for the rest of my payment, seemingly under the impression that their job was finished. When I responded with, "I'd be happy to pay for good work, but I still have a massive pit in my kitchen" they seemed surprised! Greaaattt... Also, their quote vs. what they invoiced was totally different, I was originally quoted between 8-9k for the work and then received an invoice for over 13k. When I asked about it they responded with, "Well that's for two quotes, the 8-9k was just for the plumbing work, and did not include the charges for our demo/brickwork subcontractor. They did not inform me of this AT ALL during the process, I was under the impression that work was included in the original quote. It really, really sucked to get that invoice, I don't know anyone right now who has an extra 5k to literally drop into their drains when. they are already experiencing financial hardship due to unexpected construction costs.
