Tristan P. from Goettl came out to our residence today to do an inspection. He was timely, respectful, and so helpful! Tristan explained the causes for the issues we were having in detail, showed me pictures and walked me through the solutions. I appreciated that he didn’t come across sales-y, as I’m much more inclined to give a company our business who is human and honest rather than trying to upsell you on everything. Happy to buy the upsells, but not when that is the intent. 10/10 experience overall and looking forward to booking our HVAC cleaning with Goettl!
Sometimes good service doesn’t have to cost more.
We needed a new water heater and R/O system and got an estimate from our current plumber during an annual water softener maintenance visit. We weren’t happy with our current water softener’s annual maintenance calls and costs and were tired of the upsell attempts, so decided to get a second estimate in case.
I was easily able to schedule a 2nd estimate on Goettl's web site for the very next morning. Jacob from Goettl arrived and after hearing our frustrations, identified and confirmed a deal with his manager that allowed us to purchase a brand new water heater, R/O system, AND A NEW WATER SOFTENER for about the same price as the first company’s estimate. Of course, we wanted the new equipment installed asap, and Jacob was able to ask his teammates Bo and Denzel for help and they were there within the hour.
Jacob's knowledge about water softeners and filtration systems was obvious as he answered my questions. And he was able to educate me quickly using language I could easily understand, which is an art unto itself.
I’m not sure if all Goettl reps are as good as Jacob, Bo, and Denzel, but they got my trust and appreciation. (Jacob also replaced our outdoor water hose faucet that was hard to open/close for free. He said he needed to use it, so he didn’t want to charge us for it)

My AC went out Saturday, the company I had been doing business with told me that my 5 year old AC was no longer under warranty because the company they told over for Absolute Value didn't register it and it was going to cost me $5500 to have it replaced. Goettl quoted me a price of $3300 and they were going to be here at 9am the following day. Carlos showed up on time and got the system up and running in no time. He inspected the entire system and climed up into my attic to check the airhandler. He was through and pleasant. They got my business because of their customer service. They called back to see if their was anything else. They researched the compressor and offered me the service for significantly lower than Oasis heating and air and they didn't call me 12 minutes before the install to tell me it was going to be $2500 more or they weren't coming.
I cannot say enough good things about this company and the people who work there. At 83 years old, raising my handicapped grandson and also caring for his mother, my adopted daughter who has a mental handicap, I was terrified about how I would afford a new HVAC system. Living in Arizona without air conditioning is simply not an option, especially in this heat.
Goettl went far beyond what anyone would expect. They treated me with kindness, respect, and compassion, and they worked very hard to cut the cost of the new system for me as an act of customer appreciation. They truly cared about helping my family, not just making a sale.
Because of goettl we do not have to suffer through the Arizona summer heat. Their generosity and honesty meant more to me than words can express. It is rare these days to find a company with this kind of heart and integrity.
I will never forget what they did for us, and I recommend them with all my heart.

Adam Retherford was the technician who came out, and he was exactly what you hope for when bringing someone into your home. Kind, knowledgeable, professional, and incredibly easy to work with. He took the time to explain everything clearly, answered questions without hesitation, and never once made the interaction feel rushed or transactional.
