Fantastic company to work with!!! I was in 115 heat advisory weather and was able to have a technician come out within less than 24 hours of my initial call. The follow up by both the technician and office team to let me know someone was on their way is much appreciated. I had such a great experience with Tristan was my HVAC technician! He was incredibly kind, patient, and professional from start to finish. He took the time to really listen to my concerns, thoroughly explain what was going on with my AC, and answer all of my questions without ever making me feel rushed or like I was asking too much. He gave me honest advice and recommendations, and I really appreciated how much time he took to make sure I understood the issue and my options moving forward. It’s not every day you come across someone who genuinely takes the time to help and educate their customers . I’m very grateful for Tristan’s kindness, professionalism, and the care he put into helping me. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone needing HVAC services! He is a world of knowledge!

A/c went out so I called for service. It was a Sunday morning and they couldn’t get to me until Tuesday. But she was going to reach out to the service & have them call me to see if I could get in earlier. Waited about 5 hours, no call. Called in again and the secretary said SHE would call them and they will call me. No calls. We have been members for a very long time, we bought their unit as recommended a few years back. Had many problems with the unit, they fixed and repaired so much of the new unit. On Monday I was dying of heat exhaustion as were my dogs so I called again and this time she squeezed me in. My repair man showed up with a maintenance repair order. Wrong again office help. But this repair man was extremely nice and helpful and said he will get it going today. And he did. I truly appreciated Karlo, it was the condenser unit. I would give Karlo ten stars if I could, he was excellent. I wouldn’t give any stars to the office.

I was not happy. Appt 12-4 (4hr window). I had to call to see why they never showed. I was told my appt was 5-7. He will be there. I stated unacceptable for not getting a phone call with an update he was running late. Received another phone call said he was on the way, did I want him to come. Stated yes but didn't appreciate a phone call to update he would be later. She stated my appt was 12-5. Then he shows up after 5, (I'm working) took a minute, I go outside, he's on the phone stating I'm not answering the door and playing a game. I stated I am working and he needed to ring the door not knock. He stated he was busy and still had more appts. If George Brazil cannot commit to their appts and be on time. Then don't have so many contracts or hire more techs. Customer service should be important too! I pay which helps keep you in business. Teresa

**80-YEAR-OLD CUSTOMER LEFT WITHOUT AC FOR FOUR DAYS IN 110+° ARIZONA HEAT — HOME NOW OVER 90°** My 80-year-old mother has now been without functioning AC since Monday, August 17. It is Thursday morning, August 20, temperatures have been 110+°, and her home is now over 90°. We had to remove her from her home. This is particularly disturbing given her history with George Brazil. In 2022, shortly after my father died, she purchased an approximately $22,300 sophisticated zoned HVAC system from George Brazil. We were told it required technicians trained to understand and service it. During the original installation, the wrong thermostat was installed and materials/instructions were left inside the furnace, resulting in a fire in her attic while she was sleeping. That prior dispute was resolved. Despite this, my mother remained a loyal customer and continued renewing her George Brazil service plan every year. Her AC failed Monday morning. George Brazil diagnosed it and said a part needed to be ordered. Wednesday, a technician returned, installed the ordered fan and left. The AC still did not work and warning lights appeared. My mother called and specifically explained that she is 80, had been without AC for three days during extreme Arizona heat, and needed management escalation. She was told a MANAGER was coming. Instead, another technician, Ricky, arrived. He told us he was not a manager. According to Ricky, the first technician had not ordered the additional component required to work with the part that had just been installed, and the technician who installed the first part did not know the second component was also necessary. By then, the warehouse was closed. At NO POINT during the first three days did George Brazil proactively offer this 80-year-old customer temporary cooling or assistance with alternative accommodations. I finally called their after-hours line and pleaded for a portable AC. Management became involved. We were specifically told a portable AC would be provided that night. George Brazil has confirmed its calls are recorded. The portable AC NEVER CAME. Nobody called to tell us it wasn't coming. We had to remove my mother from her home. Around 9 PM, George Brazil called her saying they had the required part for the morning and would call before coming because they “didn't want her waiting in a warm house.” Thursday morning: NO portable AC. NO technician. NO promised call. Her house is now OVER 90 DEGREES. I have now spent more than 30 minutes on hold simply trying to determine what happened to the portable AC their management promised an 80-year-old customer. This isn't simply about waiting for an HVAC part. It is about an incomplete diagnosis/parts order, an unsuccessful repair, repeated failures to restore cooling, failure to provide promised temporary cooling, and the handling of an elderly customer during extreme Arizona heat. Arizona law expressly recognizes the importance of cooling to vulnerable adults. A.R.S. §46-451 includes deprivation of necessary “cooling” within its definition of neglect of a vulnerable adult. I am NOT alleging that George Brazil has legally committed vulnerable-adult abuse or neglect; that statute has specific legal requirements. I mention it because Arizona recognizes just how serious loss of cooling can be for vulnerable people. My mother paid George Brazil more than $22,000 for this system and has continued paying them every year to service it. At 80 years old, she deserved better than four days without AC in extreme Arizona heat, displacement from her home, and a promised emergency cooling unit that never arrived. As of Thursday morning, August 20, her home is over 90° and her AC remains nonfunctional. I will update this review to accurately reflect what George Brazil ultimately does to resolve this.

Jeremy B, came out to inspect our AC unit after it stopped blowing cold air. Jeremy inspected the unit and advised us our unit needed a list of items that needed to be replaced. I gave us 2 options. we could either pay approximately $10,000 to repair the old unit or purchase a brand new unit, quoting us prices ranging from $18,000 to $23,000. He told us that if we chose to patch up the old unit, it would likely fail again in 6 to 8 months. Based on this information, we were very close to purchasing a new unit, but we ultimately decided to get a second opinion. We had a technician from Semper Fi Heating and Cooling come out to look at the exact same unit. We were stunned to learn that the only issue was a seized condenser fan that was unable to spin. Everything else on the unit was completely fine. Semper Fi replaced the condenser fan for $1,200. I feel Jeremy was dishonest about the condition of our unit and attempted to pressure us into an incredibly expensive and unnecessary replacement. This experience feels like George Brazil encourages shady business practices to make the “big sale” for profit. Let anyone that uses George Brazil beware.
