  Our instant hot water heater stopped working. I googled for repair near me and their ad came up and said same day repair. I called and asked if they worked on my brand and they said yes and we can have someone out right away. I was departing for an international trip the next day so I thought great! About 2 hours later (no problem) the young lad showed up and right away said I'm not that familiar with XXXX brand we usually install YYYY brand. So i thought well your here and I'm committed for the $163 service fee, so go ahead. After FIVE hours working and on the phone with XXXX brand, he states well the flow servo is usually the problem but its not on this unit we confirmed that. We think its the circuit board. I thought well before calling you i almost replaced the flow servo because that's almost always the problem and i cant fathom that its a circuit board. I didn't have time to deal with the issue and really wanted the service but after an $1800 non-refundable quote for just a circuit board with no promise of working and an $8,000 quote for a new unit ..... I thought well i guess I'm gonna fix it. So i ordered the Circuit Board on eBay for $60 thinking there is no way this is it. But i also thought sounds like a flow servo and ordered one of those also for $104. Board went in first.... not the problem. Servo went in second and voila it worked right away. Call them if you want but i never will again.

  Super quick to schedule and get someone out when my water heater decided to evacuate water all over the floor of my garage. Noah showed up, explained everything, answered my questions and installed the new unit. He did everything with a smile and made the entire experience extremely easy. Cannot recommend Noah and Deer Valley enough!!!

  Mike, Sam, Zach, Jerry they were all very very helpful. Very prompt when I asked about something very honest and gave me a great deal. We shall see how the install goes, but I expect it to be perfect. I would recommend deer Valley plumbing to anybody and everybody that needs air-conditioning or plumbing work.

  My service tech that came out was terrific. Zak Cahill was courteous, had a great attitude and was patient in answering questions. The service charge was $150 for the call which was reasonable. My complaint however is with the company pricing for a capacitor on the AC unit. I have bought these many times for other properties. The general cost of the capacitor is between $15.00 and $50.00 ( they are on line everywhere for about 20 to 30 dollars.) Installation is a few minutes, however a reasonable range for the part and install would be approx. $150.00 plus the service fee of $150.00 which would be a $300.00 charge overall. I've had some done for less, but that would be the average. I was charged $389.00 for the part and another $150. for the call. (total of $539.00 which is far too high. ) That is excessive and is called taking advantage of the customer. I am giving 5 stars simply because of the tech that came out for the call. Certainly none of this was his fault.

  Our shower handle broke. Normally we use a different plumber, but this time we decided to reach out to them and a few companies for quotes. The quotes all came in pretty close, but we ultimately went with Deer Valley because they had a special for $100 off that month, were close by, had good reviews, showed up on time, and were responsive. Initial signs were all good. The tech showed up on time and was friendly, so no issues there. Unfortunately, I can't really say the same for the quality of the work. The job ended up being bigger than they initially expected it to be, so they had to open the wall to replace shower cartridge. It's an older house so we weren't super surprised by that. But in the end, he installed the hot and cold lines backwards, which means only about 20% of the shower handle range is actually useable because the other 80% is freezing. It also means the "hot" and "cold" don't correspond to the actual shower plate. He also installed the tub spout so far out from the wall it left a 1/2 inch gap so large it couldnt even be caulked. I ended up just fixing that myself with the directions that came with the spout and luckily it wasn't too hard. He also didn't caulk anything. And functional problems aside, the positioning of the plate just doesn't look that good to me. The plate is huge and it positioned awkwardly so that abuts the tub spout (see photo). So I guess we do technically have a working shower again. But I also think when you're paying almost $1500 for something, the quality of the repair/fixture install should have been better (especially something like making sure you install the hot and cold connections properly). Plus it doesn't give me much faith that the work behind the wall was done well. They have a lot of good reviews so my experience might be a one-off, but given everything described above they aren't a company I would choose again or recommend
