Dont believe anything these SCAMMERS TELL YOU ! I purchased 3 SAMSUNG MINI SPILTS FROM THEM & spent alot of money ! I had a issue with a inexpensive part on 1 of the units come off & needed to be replaced it probably was a $5 part & they wanted to charge me $454 lol
The customer service rep his name is TONY basically told me that it was my fault that it came off lol ! I said no the entire piece wasn't installed correctly.
In any case I asked to speak with the owner I was told no you cant & then he told me to send an email to the company. As a long time business owner you always make sure that the person that is speaking to your customer knows customer service & isnt going to hurt your business !
I just called thr dept of ARIZONA CONSUMER AFFAIRS & NOW IM REACHING OUT TO SAMSUNG CORP TO LET V THEM KNOW HOW AMERICAN HOME & AIR IS TREATING THERE CUSTOMERS !
DO YOURSELF A BIG FAVOR DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY THEY ARE NICE & WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY BUT IF YOU CALL THEM WITH AN ISSUE THEY WILL TRY & SCAM YOU
If I could give 10 stars, I would! This is one extremely well-run company. The team at AHWA has been fantastic, since the day I initally met with Will, through the day my AC unit was installed a month ago, and even after. They are everything I hoped they would be... meticulous attention to detail, excellent follow through, fabulous customer service. They are a team of people who communicate and care... quite the concept in this day and age. Standing ovation to Will, Kaidon, Angel, Kevin, Curtis, Fidel and the administrative staff. Thank you all!!

I can’t say enough good things about Curtis and his teammate Amber at American Home Water and Air. I was in a tough spot with my AC and had already dealt with another company that didn’t fix the problem correctly. The previous company put a temporary band-aid on the system and told me it might last a few more weeks, but after they left, the unit was making even more noise and seemed worse than before.
Curtis (Field Supervisor) and Amber (technician) came out, took their time, and actually diagnosed the system the right way. They replaced my fan motor properly, corrected the previous install issues, and walked me through everything they were doing so I understood exactly what was going on.
Living in Phoenix, having a working HVAC system isn’t optional—it’s essential. Being without AC in this heat is not something you can just tough out, and the situation I was in was becoming serious. Curtis and Amber were a true saving grace in that moment. They were honest, professional, and genuinely cared about helping me get back up and running.
What stood out most was their integrity. After dealing with other companies, I was starting to lose hope that my unit was even fixable. The focus elsewhere was on selling me a full replacement, with little consideration for my situation. Curtis and his team took a different approach. They evaluated the system honestly, explained what could be repaired, and gave me a practical path forward to keep my home comfortable while I plan for a future replacement. That kind of transparency and willingness to help find a solution is rare.
They showed genuine kindness and understanding during a difficult time, and I’m truly grateful for the support and professionalism they brought to the situation.
On top of that, they treated me like a person, not just a customer. You can tell they genuinely care and take pride in what they do. If you want someone who knows their trade, communicates honestly, pays attention to detail, and does the job right while treating you with respect, call Curtis and his team.
I’ll be using American Home Water and Air for anything HVAC going forward, and I’ll be recommending them to everyone I know.
We have used American Home Water and Air since we moved here 15 years ago to replace our reverse osmosis filters. When our water softener unit stopped working, they were the first company we thought of to replace it. Not disappointed. So, when our HVAC was in need of replacing, we thought of them again. Very happy we did. Curtis designed an offer that was customized to our needs, and we arranged for installation. The service technicians were, knowledgeable, courteous and respectful. Installation was great, along with cleanup.
You definitely won't go wrong giving this local company your business.

Recently scheduled an appointment to have a water filtration unit moved to my new place of residence. The lady who initially helped me over the phone was great; she informed me there would be an additional charge of $150 due to the appointment falling outside normal business hours, which I was completely fine with. However, the plumbing technician they sent out was a nightmare.
His name was Omar Walters. At no point throughout the entire interaction did he even pretend to be remotely friendly; instead, he was rude from the very moment he first called to say he was unable to locate my place. I went outside to help guide him while on the phone, but he repeatedly talked over me, refused to follow my directions, and kept insisting he was following his GPS. After an unproductive back and forth, I noticed through the tracking app that he was at the wrong address entirely, which I know for a fact was not a clerical error, as the woman on the phone had carefully double checked it. Rather than simply acknowledging the mistake, he made it seem like it was my fault, made a point of saying he was now 20 minutes away, began grumbling under his breath in what sounded like another language, and then just hung up on me.
Twenty minutes later he called again, lost once more, so I went back outside to try to help him find the place. He continued to ignore my directions and at one point said, "Come on man... if it's the wrong address again, you'll have to reschedule." He eventually found my place, though he moved at a snail's pace and carried what seemed like the biggest chip on his shoulder in the world.
I waited for him out front. He came inside leaving my front door wide open, something he repeated when he left with the filtration unit. When it came time to collect the first half of the payment, I asked if he had brought the sink hole cover. He replied with a blank "no" and a vacant stare. I pointed out that he was supposed to bring one, he made a note of it, so ended up driving to Home Depot to get one myself.
We then made our way to the new location where the filtration unit was to be installed. He slowly brought the unit inside and then announced, "I don't have the right drill tools, so you'll have to reschedule," telling me this only after he had already set the unit down. To make matters worse, he apparently hadn't turned off the valve properly, because water had begun leaking on the floor. To his credit, when I pointed it out, he did clean it up, but still.
Up until this experience, every other interaction I've had with this company over the years has been positive. But the technician they sent out was an embarrassment.
The following morning, I called to reschedule and have someone come out to finish the installation. The earliest available slot was Saturday, which I could have accepted, but when I asked about the $150 charge, I was told it still applied because the original appointment fell outside business hours. I asked whether that was really fair given that the technician they sent out was unable to do his job, and the representative said he wouldn't engage with that framing. To be fair to him, he had been polite up to that point and wasn't the one who had been incompetent and rude. I asked to speak with a manager and am still waiting to hear back.
I have been a customer for years and every prior experience has been a genuinely positive one, which makes this even more disappointing. I hope management reaches out and makes this right.
