  This was the second time that I've had a technician come out ..different company this time and what a pleasant surprise. My technician (Nicholas) was knowledgeable, worked to educate me on why trying things had be done, and was honest about the pricing up front which I really appreciate it. Hopefully I won't need them back outbut if I do I definitely would go with A1 again

  Had a garage door technician here on 8-12-2020 to service a unit that was operating perfectly when the house was purchased 3 weeks ago but then wouldn’t stay closed on 8-6-2020. After the tech did a quick check he told me it was 14 years old and could be repaired for $232 and change or replaced for $667 + change which gave me pause and decided to think on it and would get back with them the next day. Well after watching a few YouTube videos, I found the issue was just a simple adjustment on the force close (back of unit) and the drop distance (Side of unit) the garage door opens and closes perfectly! Afterward I found he placed his blank repair sticker to the unit over the previous repair company’s sticker hiding the date, signature of tech and company name/number that had done a few months prior to purchasing the home. Sad to say but I’m very disappointed in this company and don’t recommend them as I payed $65 for a sales pitch on repair or replacement that wasn’t necessary and when he left it still wasn’t working cause he didn’t do anything but look at it. Even if the unit only lasts me another 6 days/weeks/months it would’ve been worth the $65 I paid but unfortunately I only got a sales pitch. I will update this review when the garage door fails to work after my simple fix!
