  I've needed this service for years & a patch job wasn't what I wanted! Chance was great! He was professional, quick, & didn't try to oversell....which is why I'll be a repeat customer with PLUMBING BY JAKE!!! Great job!! Very happy!!

  I normally don't take the time to leave bad reviews, but after seeing multiple people with similar stories and reviews, the public needs to be aware of these scammers. I had a main water line break under my mobile home Sunday morning. After calling multiple plumbers, Jake by Plumbing was the first one to get back to us with their Al system. After providing information to the Al robot, it transferred us to another Al robot which made the process even more confusing and frustrating not being able to talk to a live person. We were given the time frame 12-6pm, received a confirmation text. We waited all day long with no water for 2 days hoping they were going to show up. 6pm comes around with nothing. We call the system and of course it redirects us to the Al system. The system lets us know that they will let the team know about us. 8pm comes around and nothing. We had no one call us or text. We were really relying on this company to show up at the appointment time due to not having water. Next morning, my husband and I start calling around early to get the situation sorted out. A little after 8am we receive a text that a technician from "Ambient Edge" is on the way. He called @8:30am and said he was coming from Kingman and would be there within 1 hour. Once the 2 technicians came to our home, they inspected the situation. The 1st thing the technician does is come in and says "well it's not good news", then proceeds to tell us the issues regarding our leak and what repairs need to be completed to fix it. He explained that they would have to cut all the cinder block due to the position the corroded rod was and dig around the front of our house, as well as the side to get to the secondary water valve. Not only did he tell us that, but proceeds to tell us our sewer line isn't placed correctly, then tells us that the piping we have under our home (which is standard in mobile homes) is cheap and needs to be replaced. Of course they pull our the IPad and don't want to show you the charges, but instead the monthly payments (just showing they are over priced to begin with). To replace the piping in our small home, $9000, to replace the sewer time TBD, oh why? Because they have their "handy dandy sewer line specialist" who is just another sales man. As well as close to $3000 to fix 1 leak. We asked them if they believe they have comparable prices to other plumbers near us and they said yes. The technician wanted to push on the repiping house situation and he asked what was stopping us from paying $9000. Well, just like a lot of people, I don't have $9000 to just give away for plumbing work, when you are telling me I have a $2600 bill with serious damage. Once my husband started asking questions and wanted an itemized list of the prices, they stated they don't do itemized receipts or anything. The whole situation felt sketchy/pushy. He went under the house himself to see the issue, realized the technicians blew the issue out of proportion so they can overcharge and started asking ?s. No cinderblock needed to be removed, all that digging that needed to be done was a lie, and he spent no longer than 3 minutes down there diagnosing the issue. Once my husband told them we didn't want them to complete their services due to them lying about the level of repair that was needed and we would do it ourselves seeing how easy it actually was, he still wanted to charge us $1700 for digging. We had them break it down for us, $300 an hour for labor, $25 in parts. They were at my house for less than two hours. $625. Not sure how the bill came to $1700, let alone $2600 for one leak. I told them I would happily pay them for their time. The technician ended up calling his manager because we refused to pay $1700 for their drive time (1 hr) and digging (30 minutes). His manager agreed to $845, so I wrote them a check to get them out of my face. Don't hire this company. Got the parts for $50 down at ACE, took me 1 hour to replace the leak. They are taking advantage of the whole community, especially the elderly.

  Amazing Customer Service! I had seen an Ambient Edge/Plumbing by Jake vehicle in my neighborhood and called for help. Every person exhibited a genuine concern for my plumbing problem and boosted my confidence in doing business with them. Knowledgeable, polite and professional customer service! Set the appointment for the following day Thursday, 27 August 2026 and the plumber called in advance of his arrival so I was ready when he arrived. I am a disabled and retired US Army Veteran, using a walker, scooter and/or wheelchair to get around since I cannot walk very far or stand for prolonged periods of time. The Plumber (Riley) began by saying thank you for your service to the country. Riley told me to let him know if I needed to pause at anytime while analyzing my plumbing problem. He located the water meter at the rear of my property, opened the cover and saw it was covered with years’ worth of dirt. He scraped the dirt off to open the lid to view the actual meter and I noticed the ‘Triangle’ icon but the meter reading was the same as when I bought the house in January 2021. I asked Riley if there was some way to re-pipe after the water meter and elevate the ball-valve shut-off about 12 to 18 inches above ground so I could reach it from my wheelchair. Riley said Yes! He explained that the water main coming from the street into the water meter was property of Bullhead City Water the plumber and/or property owner is NOT allowed to touch or modify it in any way. Riley said from the water meter to the house was 100% the responsibility of the property owner (me). Riley quickly drew a diagram of what he could install to allow me access to the shut-off valve, how to determine the proper water pressure needed, and a relief faucet where I could install a gauge to verify the water pressure and if there actually was a water leak. Riley started right away but the water pressure regulator valve was not in stock so he installed what he could. The part came in on Thursday, 3 September 2026. Riley called me and said he was on his way to finish the job. Riley installed the new water pressure regulator valve, checked for leaks (none), verified the water pressure I wanted of 50 psi., observed the gauge for about 10 minutes, and there was no loss of water pressure (which verified no leaks). He wrapped the copper pipe with a UV protective tape. At the very end he once again viewed the gauge still holding at 50 psi. Riley left the property looking better than when he arrived! Riley offered information about a whole-house water filtration system and possibly changing to a tank less, on demand, natural gas water heater which would be more efficient. I told Riley he was an amazing representative for Ambient Edge/Plumbing by Jake. I need to wait until after Bullhead City Water replaces the meter before making any other changes. I would definitely use Ambient Edge/Plumbing by Jake again! See some of the pictures included. I apologize that my review is so long, but it is worth reading.
