Building with Woodside Homes was the worst mistake of my life. My neighborhood, homes are going for over a million. This company never even bothered to insulate our homes. I complained and was told originally that, "it'll hold the cool in better when your furniture arrives." Then, when I found a huge chunk of my attic without ANY insulation, i sent them photos and they said, "our contractor says the house is insulated to code." I've included the photos I shared with them. I suppose they mean to say I vacuumed all the insulation out of my attic in the middle of summer? Then, when I took to the internet they finally replied with, "we can send someone in to rip out drywall if you want us to inspect." They added that I would be responsible for the cost of replacing the drywall. Rather than having them come in and rip out drywall, I just paid the first $4k of $10k I need to pay to get my house just to code so I can eventually sell it. The first leg just insulated my house. Nothing else. I have sent them the information, they refused to reimburse. I'd still rather pay it than have to live with their people ripping out my drywall to fix something in my attic. I will say, King Insulation did a great job at the fixes and I can finally keep my house under 80 degrees without a $900 electric bill.

I would never purchase a home from Woodside again and would advise anyone looking into purchasing from them go somewhere else. As far as the work in the actual homes goes, it’s pretty standard since all the builders use the same contractors. The service from Woodside is absolutely horrible. The customer case rep Lisa must have either had no training or was trained to give customers horrible service so that they would get so frustrated they would just give up. At our 1 year walkthrough through she took notes as we walked through the whole house as there were a lot of issues that needed to be taken care of. When we followed up with her she had us send her an email listing all the issues. What notes was she taking during the walkthrough? After sending her the list we had multiple issues with her not setting up appointments, asking us to describe what needed to be taken care of in follow up emails even though she could have read through the thread, as well as not replying all with my husband and I to emails which made follow up even harder. There were multiple issues she noted would be taken care of that were never remedied. We have bought new builds with other builders and always had great customer service experiences with them. I will be posting reviews on multiple platforms so all potential buyers that Google them are fully informed before making such a life changing decision.

Worst company ever!! Do NOT buy a home from woodside!! My wife and I made the mistake of buying a new build woodside home a couple years ago and are still very disappointed to this day. From extremely poor and pathetic construction of the house to horrible customer service and leadership this company should be ashamed of themselves. I have a laundry list of complaints that I could go through but the biggest one would be the incompletion of our stucco which ultimately lead to a bee infestation in our home (our 1 year old sons room!) which resulted in us paying over $6000 in total cost for the demo and repair to exterminate the bee hive! Woodside never bothered to cover the cost even though it was still under warranty, nor did they bother to fix the issue even after we addressed it many times to the superintendent and the head of customer service. Believe me when I say I am the last person who would ever get online to leave a bad review about anything but I really felt the need to do this. Buying a new build home should be an amazing experience from the day construction begins to the day you move out. Unfortunately this has not been the case at all for my wife and I. Save your money and your time and do NOT buy from woodside homes!!!
