  When our AC unexpectedly went out, true North responded right away and quickly got us up and running by adding Freon to the unit. After evaluating the system, we decided it was time for a replacement AC. The team was fantastic throughout the entire process. They provided four different replacement options at various price points, which made it easy to choose a system that best fit our needs and budget. Once we made our decision they had the new AC installed with in just 4 days. Everyone we worked with was professional and knowledgeable and easy to communicate with. The entire experience was smooth and stress-free. I highly recommend true North to anyone looking for honest, reliable and responsibly HVAC service.

  Josh from True North contacted us in advance to let us know he was on the way. After arrival, he performed the scheduled maintenance and explained the scope of work he completed. Josh displayed professionalism and expertise throughout the process. Based on the results and Josh's overall performance, we signed up for their four year maintenance plan and look forward to working with True North and Josh in the future.

  I had an outstanding experience with Jacob A/C Tech and the entire team at Truth North Air Conditioning. From the moment I called, their office staff was friendly, responsive, and professional. What impressed me most was how quickly they arrived to address my issue. Jacob was knowledgeable, courteous, and took the time to explain everything clearly.   Having an AC die in June is never fun, but it’s doubly frustrating when it happens 2 days before departure for a trip you’ve planned for months. Knowing our AC was 31 years old and with little hope of replacing it in 2 days, I researched reviews and called True North. Right out of the gate, the office manager treated this like her own personal emergency and coordinated with Trevor, who was already enroute to another location and rerouted to us to diagnose the issue within a couple hours of the call. To my surprise, Trevor had already scheduled an installation crew for the next day, all I had to do was give the word. By the middle of the next day, we had a new system cooling our house with a fraction of the electricity. There are very few businesses that you truly feel honored to give your money. The office manager is as empathetic as your best friend. Trevor is a skilled designer and fantastically collaborative in the design and also the inspection of the installed system. The installation crew are expert craftsman, super respectful, and so pleasant you feel like you own the business. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the work and the value we received for our money. But the real standout was the instant urgency that allowed us to hit the road on time, preserving our reservations. True North deserves every bit of the reputation they’ve earned. Thank you for your impact on our lives.

  I've used True North twice for warranty service and I won't use them again. The only reason I used them in the first place was because they took over Arizona Cooling Company who installed a Daikin mini-split at my house in 2022. After about 3 years the mini-split started making a high-pitch whining sound. It turns out the fan motor, fan, and assembly needed to be replaced. The Daikin parts are under warranty for 10 years yet True North still charged me $400, apparently all for labor. Fast forward 7 months and the fan is now making banging sounds. The True North tech says the fan is a little too large for the opening in the unit and it's due to "after market" parts. Why would True North install after market parts when Daikin warrants their parts for 10 years? No wonder they charged me $400. This was probably for after market parts and labor, not warranted Daikin replacement parts. The tech says he can leave it as is or shave some off the edges of the fan. When the tech showed up he had no idea the fan motor, fan, and assembly was replaced by True North just 7 months earlier. He wanted to charge me a $95 service call charge in addition to whatever he found to be the issue. When I told him about the replacement 7 months earlier, he said he would "waive" the service call charge even though True North warranted the replacement for 1 year. I feel taken advantage of by True North and apparently now I have after market parts in my Daikin mini-split when genuine Daikin parts are warranted for 10 years.
