Rite Way had installed our water heater 5 1/2 years ago. This weekend we noticed it had been leaking. Called Rite Way and a repairman (Justin) was here within the hour. The water heater was still under warranty, but due to the holiday he would not be able to get a replacement until Monday. He was polite and knowledgeable , explained the problem and said he would be back as soon as he was able.

Called RiteWay to have them replace a part I knew needed replacing, based on an overpriced quote from another company. Even though I didn't ask for it, Rite Way's tech, Tim Peak, did a complete test and review of the entire system. The most comprehensive test and review I've ever had from an HVAC company. I've used a number of HVAC companies over the years, and Tim explained everything clearly and in terms I could understand. Also, the cost to replace the part I needed was less than the competitors'.

I have used them two times and in both instances their techs were very polite as well as nice guys who seem happy and pretty knowledgeable of their trade, there admin staff was of the highest caliber and overall there response to my needs were prompt and courteous. As I said I only used them twice for smaller jobs but there was nothing to complain about. It was a good deal and I'm satisfied. Cordially, David B

I have used their services for plumbing issues.
Below is my experience:
1) when I called to customer service , their representative confirmed that service cost would be $49 for finding the issue. But soon after the service person came home, he quoted charges would $149.99. Which is kind of cheating the customers.
2) They have inexperienced staff and are not good at what they do. The plumber who came to my home could not tell me where the issue is rooting from. They have tried and left without identifying the issue but still being charged.
3) I need to hire a different plumber to identify and fix the issue. Within no time , the issue has been resolved. This clearly explains that the plumber from riteway is inexperienced. And moreover the other plumber did not charge me for identifying the issue.
I feel that all the 5 star rating over here are not true ones.

Honestly disappointed. I scheduled an ac tune up that was quoted $30. After inspection we were told we needed a new capacitor but we were not told there would be a price if any, we said okay and once the capacitor was installed we were told we need a new ac unit and recommended to speak with a project manager. Hesitant we said ok and were told there would be no charge for the service that day. That evening we discussed it and realized we could not afford to start an $11,000 project and opted to start saving first. The next morning I called to cancel the project manager appointment and they said okay. About an hour later they followed up with another call asking about the original service to which I told them Gabriel was fantastic but unfortunately we aren’t in the position to move forward with anything else but please feel free to reach back out in a couple months to revisit the idea once we’ve had time to save. They said ok. 2 days after the original service we received a “bill” for $305 with an invoice of a service we did not sign ie the capacitor we were not told a price on(the signature spot is blank). But to make matters even more confusing, stressful, and frustrating, we reached out for a 2nd opinion with a different company who fixed a leak, put in more freon, and said we’d probably get another 2 years out of the system before needing to replace it. The only options we were presented with from rite way were spending $7,000 for xyz parts but really suggested we needed to replace the ac right away for roughly $11,000. Gabriel was a very thorough and friendly tech but unfortunately the way rite way conducts business is not what I would recommend. And after researching further, the capacitor installed is a roughly $20 part we were quoted $50 on installing by another company.
UPDATE: THEY INSTALLED A FAULTY CAPACITOR LEAVING US IN AN ALMOST 90° HOUSE ON A SATURDAY AFTERNOON. And on top of that, after calling a 3rd company given we will NOT be reaching back out to rite way and the other is not available on weekends, they informed us not only did they give us a bad capacitor(they showed us side by side the difference in a new v old one), they never cleaned the system/coils which was covered in dust which would have lead to issues with the ac in general. It’s almost impossible that we’ve never had a single issue with our ac other than it getting a little hot while cooking dinner and 3 days later our house is at 90° with a faulty part after being visited by rite way.
