  Outrageous prices triple other contractor— which was also high price for ejector pump replacement but we had to go with them because well because… their quoted part was for a higher priced brand with same functionality as the one that needed to be replaced and the listed a separate cost for the float - $590 - even though the float came with the ejector pump. A separate bid for a leak in potable water system was not based on an inspection to identify the precise location of the leak. They did include a diagnostic electronic inspection to locate the path of underground piping. A separate leak detection done by us determined that the leak was at the back flow's preventer. You have to sign up to their Gold Star annual membership to get a free leak diagnosis. There were other problems with the bid which encompassed multiple plumbing projects for a grand total of $9730 which of course you can finance with a finance fee. How Goldstar gets 5 star reviews is beyond my comprehension.

  Working with Gold Star Plumbing was a please. Kylle was our technician who fixed a burst waterline underground. We had a bid from another plumber, we decided to ho with Gold Star because of a recommendation as well as a lower bid. We will definitely use this company again and will request Kylle!

  This was the first time we'd needed plumbing service and Cody Morgan from Gold Star Plumbing exceeded our expectations! Scheduling was easy and Cody was able to get to our house even earlier than we anticipated. By the way, I loved that Gold Star Plumbing sends out your technicians name, picture, a little bit about them, and the ability to track their location and time of arrival so that you know who to expect and when. Cody was extremely knowledgeable and quickly identified some issues with the work we needed done. I had purchased the wrong size toilet for our space, but he was able to help me track down a plumbing supply store with the right parts available on a Saturday (kudos to Mark at Reece for having everything ready to go quickly for me) and waited for me to collect those pieces so he could still get the install done for us. It took Cody less time to install the new toilet than it took me to go pick it up! And it was done perfectly the first time and is working great! My family is so thankful to have the bathroom back to operational. While on site, Cody was patient and professional in explaining a variety of other plumbing projects we had been needing to schedule and we were able to get a quote and book that work right away! I would highly recommend Gold Star Plumbing and especially Cody Morgan! Easily a 5-star service and we will continue to leverage them for our future needs.

  I’ve used them for both my personal home, and an office property I manage. In the home, they were the only ones that could figure out a problem I’ve been having for years, and they fixed in a timely way. It did cost around 4-5k. Other plumbers could not even figure it out. In my office, they took what was a very simple fix and found a way to diagnose it in the most expensive way possible. I was given no alternative options or insight. In fact google told me that the problems they eventually found were the likely culprit. Things an amateur could take care of. On the spot, in the pressure of the moment, and needing to figure out the problem and get it fixed so our team could use the building, I essentially agreed to a 1000 dollar diagnostic that was probably not needed and overkill. Definitely a shame that they treat a middle class customer this way after already using them for a multi-thousand job. I will be hesitant to bring them out again or agree to their suggested work. Btw the work they suggested I needed can be done for a few hundred bucks or less and they quoted me for an additional 3-4 thousand. Glad I did my own research.

  We had a plumber scheduled for over a month who canceled on us at the last minute, leaving us in a really tough spot with a job site in Flagstaff while we're based in Phoenix. Mike and the team were incredibly responsive and were able to squeeze us in the very same day. Mike actually arrived earlier than expected, called when he was about 20 minutes away, and then called me immediately after assessing the job to go over everything since I couldn't be there in person. He even waited on site while I discussed the estimate back and forth with our customer, which I really appreciated. Although we ended up not moving forward because the work was a little outside our customer's budget, the experience was excellent from start to finish. Mike was professional, patient, and genuinely cared about helping us. He made a stressful situation much easier and gave me confidence that we were in good hands. I wouldn't hesitate to call Gold Star Plumbing & Drain again and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for honest, professional service.
