Energy Shield Window & Door Company offers a complete line of Energy Star Rated high-quality Vinyl and Aluminum framed replacement windows and doors.
Over the past decade, vinyl has become the frame material of choice for replacement windows and doors as well as for new construction. With Federal Energy Codes becoming more and more strict, energy efficient vinyl has emerged as the top performer. In many parts of the United States such as Arizona, vinyl is one of the few materials that exceed the minimum standards set by the federal government.
Advancements in the chemical compounds that are formulated specifically for windows and doors have made vinyl the preferred frame material for Arizona’s most prominent home builders. Many multimillion-dollar homes in Arizona are constructed with vinyl windows and doors.
Replacing your old aluminum or steel framed windows and doors with state of the art vinyl frames is one of the best investments you can make in your home. You will lower your energy cost while increasing curb appeal and resale value.

The Energy Shield 9000 Series double sliding windows are traditional style that opens from both the left or right sashes by sliding to the center. This allows ventilation from either side if the window. This style of window includes a Full Screen covering both sashes. The perfect choice for privacy or sun screen options.
The Energy Shield 7000 Series single hung window is a traditional style that opens from the bottom by raising the window sash upward. The top glass in the single hung is fixed in place and does not open. This style includes a Half Screen across the bottom leaving the top half as a full view picture window. The opening sash is traditionally one half of the height, however since every window is custom made to fit your home you can specify the height of the sash. This style of window is often used in the dining area to provide a clear view through the window while seated at a table so that the horizontal sash frame is below eye level.
Tilt in sash for easy cleaning
Aluminum fixed meeting rail provides superior structural strength
Perfectly balanced block and tackle system allows sash to rest at any opening height
The 7000 series provides excellent performance and energy efficiency with dual pane low-E glass
Argon gas is standard
50% of the window is sealed airtight with premium dust seals to seat the sash tight
The Energy Shield 8000 Series double hung window is also a traditional style that opens from the top by lowering the top sash and opens from the bottom by raising the bottom sash. This style includes a Full Screen covering both the top and bottom sashes. The full screen is often used when privacy or sun screens are going to be applied.
The Energy Shield 9500 Series are casement and awning windows with hinged sashes that open outward. Casement windows are hinged on the side while awning windows are hinged at the top. Either style includes Full Screens on the inside rather than the outside of the house. These styles of windows offer an unobstructed view and still open. Casement and awning windows also offer the most protection against dust as a result of the clamp down gear drive hardware system.
The Energy Shield bay window is always custom made and is a decorative window that projects outward from the exterior wall. This style of window is commonly referred to as a Bench Seat window and can include shelving to display decorations. This style of windows often makes the interior room feel and look larger. The most common configuration is a fixed is a 3 window pattern with a fixed picture window in the center flanked by two single hung or double hung windows for ventilation.
Bow windows contain 4 or more windows mulled together to form a gentle curve or "bow". The bow window does not protrude out from the exterior wall as much as the bay window and is not available with shelving. This style of window is typically configured with all picture windows, but can also include operable windows on the sides.
At Energy Shield Window & Door Company we have the capability to manufacture any size or shape of fixed picture window you can imagine. Our state of the art computerized glass cutting system is virtually unlimited in the shapes that can be achieved.
Picture windows are fixed glass windows that provide unobstructed views while allowing a large amount of light inside the house. They are often used in groups mulled together to create unique configurations and patterns. Transom windows are also fixed windows and are often used above doors and other windows to allow additional light inside the house. Geometric shapes are often used as accent windows to complement a specific architecture. Half Round, Quarter Round, Triangles and Trapezoid can be tailored to your home for a unique look that is all your own.
Adding curb appeal with new landscaping or a fresh coat of paint are great ideas. But to really enhance the entryway of your home or office building, new or replacement sidelights and transoms are a brilliant solution. Sidelights are the double or single windows flanking either side of an entry door. Transoms are the windows above a door. There is nothing quite as welcoming as a beautiful well-lit entryway.

Energy Shield Window & Door Company is proud to be a distributor of Titan Security Doors. These doors are truly works of art. Constructed of an aluminum-magnesium alloy which is stronger and lighter than steel. Each door is cut on a computerized CNC machine from a single sheet of material resulting in a perfect cut every time with absolutely no visible welds. These doors come in a variety of powder coat colors. Because of the alloy construction, there is never a risk of rust. Each door comes standard with a charcoal colored bug screen, you can upgrade to perforated or sunscreen which also comes in a variety of colors. Contrasting colors between the frame color and the screen color creates additional unique designs. Another feature of the Titan Security Door that other brands have overlooked is the insect seal at the bottom of the door, you don’t want to leave your door open to let fresh air in just to have unwanted critters crawling in under the door. Because these doors are designed and manufactured right here in Arizona pest control and sun fade was given extra consideration.

My project was whole house replacement, including a sunroom with windows on three sides. I live in Sun City and wanted acoustic laminated glass due to jets overhead. I also wanted to convert the existing very large sunroom sliders to picture windows. I spent 8 months looking for a vendor who could do acoustic glass and in this size. I was on the verge of thinking I'd never find what I wanted and was going to have to make big compromises. I'm so grateful Energy Shield and its owner was willing to learn all about acoustic glass and take on this project for me. My new windows are nothing short of life-changing. The views from my sunroom are now truly spectacular, and the sound reduction from the acoustic glass has taken the overhead jets from a long roar to barely noticeable. The installation crew was also wonderful. The cost was very reasonable.
