  I can't recommend Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric enough, especially their serviceman, Joey Bowen. By my standards, he's worth his weight in gold. We had a long-standing drainage issue with our HVAC system where the condensation wasn't draining properly under the house or outside through the PVC drain line. The air conditioning and heating system had originally been installed by Humes Heat & Air out of Walnut Ridge AR, and unfortunately, their installation and shoddy workmanship left us with several problems. When I contacted Humes about those issues, I was essentially told their solution was to remove the new system instead of standing behind their work and fixing the problems. After spending more than $5,000 in cash at their request for a new HVAC system, that was incredibly disappointing. Living in Black Rock, Arkansas, we don't have the luxury of dozens of HVAC companies to choose from like people in larger cities do. Finding quality service can be a challenge, which makes it even more important when a company stands behind its work. The condensate drain line had a dip in it that allowed water to collect, freeze during the winter, and back up into the air conditioner during the summer. To make matters worse, the unit itself was installed so close to the door frame that accessing it for repairs was already difficult. Then, the condensate drain line was installed directly in front of the access doors, making it even harder to service the unit or perform something as routine as changing the air filter. Instead of putting a band-aid on the problem, Joey took the time to diagnose the actual cause and fix it correctly. He rerouted the condensate drain, eliminated the dip in the line, restored proper drainage both under the house and to the exterior, cleaned up the installation, restored easy access to the service doors and filter, and sealed everything back up the way it should have been done from the beginning. What impressed me the most was that Joey wasn't just trying to get to the next service call. He took the time to explain everything he was doing, answered every question I had, and made sure the job was done correctly. When he finished, everything looked cleaner, functioned better, and was installed the way a professional installation should be. Based on my personal experience, I would not recommend **Humes Heat & Air** because of the installation issues that ultimately had to be corrected. On the other hand, I recommend Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric without hesitation. If you call them, ask for Joey. He is knowledgeable, professional, and honest. He pays attention to the smallest details, cleans up after himself, and truly takes pride in his work. That's becoming harder and harder to find these days, especially in small towns like Black Rock, Arkansas. Five stars all the way for professionalism, knowledge, quality workmanship, cleanup, affordability, and, most importantly, doing the job right the first time. Paschal Air, Plumbing & Electric, and Joey have earned my business, my trust, and my recommendation. If every company treated its customers the way Joey treated us, there would be a lot more satisfied homeowners. Our service tech was Joseph"Joey" Bowen from Paschal.
