On March 27, 2026, we purchased 15 windows and a sliding door from Window World of Dothan, AL. During the initial sale, our only concern was the size of the sliding door for the master bedroom. Our sales rep, Jimmy Steege, suggested a 5-foot door. When we expressed concern about fitting through it, he assured us it wouldn't be a problem, explicitly stating he had a client with a walker who could easily fit. Trusting his expertise, we went with his recommendation.
On May 14, 2026, the installation team arrived. I initially doubted that two men could finish 15 windows and a door in one day, but Washington, Ferreria and his partner were phenomenal. They worked like clockwork with incredible speed and efficiency. I will absolutely request this specific crew when we tackle the next phase of our project.
However, while they were working, I measured myself against the uninstalled sliding door and realized the opening was far too small. I called Window World and received a callback from our sales rep, Jimmy Steege. As a 22-year Army combat veteran and former officer, I have seen a lot in my life, but I have never encountered a sales representative as profoundly disrespectful to a customer as Mr. Steege. His behavior was so unacceptable that I instructed him never to call my phone again and requested to speak with a manager.
Within minutes, the manager, Mr. Wade called me back. With a calm, professional demeanor, he listened to the issue and immediately assured me it would be an easy fix.
I want to make it clear that Jimmy Steege’s behavior does not reflect Window World of Dothan as a whole. From the installers and phone representatives to the management, the rest of the team showed nothing but professionalism, genuine concern, and a commitment to making things right. I highly recommend this company—just be sure to ask for a sales rep other than Jimmy. I will post a follow-up review in a few weeks once the new door is installed, and I will also include data on the energy savings we've seen since the new windows were put in.
