  We are from Huntsville, Alabama but own a condo in Auburn, Alabama that our son who is an Auburn University student is residing in. We went down to Auburn for the Florida game and departed for home the following Sunday. On Monday evening our son contacted us to tell is that the air was set to 68°F but it was 83°F in the unit (we were just there all weekend and no problems). The system was running inside but there was no cold air coming from the vents. After a few quick over the phone troubleshooting tips with my son we could not get to the root cause of the problem. It is getting late at night at this point so I made the decision to get up the following morning and drive back to Auburn so we could get this taking care of. We wanted to go ahead and reach out to an HVAC Pro that night in hopes that someone could be there first thing tin the morning. That's when I called American Heating and Cooling . The website was a little misleading as it stated they were open 24 hours; but I found out that was not the case when I spoke with Mrs. Melanie. She was very nice in speaking in with me that late, although I am pretty sure I woke her up. She asked me to call back the following morning. As I was on my drive to Auburn the next morning, I was about 50 minutes out when my phone rung. It was Mrs. Melanie calling me asking me if I wanted her to put me on the schedule. I asked what time she could have someone come over, and after confirming she called me back and told me in 35-40 mins. At this point I was about 45 minutes. It was so awesome that someone was coming first thing. The guys showed up a couple minutes after I arrived and had the unit back up and running in less than 20 minutes. The Techs were very knowledgeable and explained in detail what they found (dumb ants, long story). My HVAC unit was less than 3 years old and there were some initial confusion on warranty-related issues (whether the replaced component was covered) that I couldn't get resolved with the Tech so I called Mrs. Melanie the next day and she was able to get an answer for me, clear up all confusion and reimburse me for the component charge. Very, very happy that we reached out to American Heating and Cooling. Nevertheless, I went inside and put their business contact info on the fridge. They are our people from now on. So, from Huntsville, Alabama, thank you American Heating and Cooling in the Auburn-Opelika area. And a big, big, big thanks to Mrs. Melanie for making this a great experience.

  Prompt, courteous and very friendly. The technician quickly diagnosed the issue and made the necessary repair. Explained the issue with clear and easy to understand terminology. Palm Service manager was very professional and is highly recommended and appreciated.

  The best customer service I’ve seen in a long time. Christina showed compassion listened to me and above and beyond and for that I’m grateful. If you are needing a new unit or just repair call American Heating and Air they are veteran owned and local which was the deal breaker for me.
