  This company was hired to install a glass shower door in a new tile shower. They came out and measured the door, then returned to install the glass. After the install they closed the door and left. When I went in I noticed that they left dust from drilling into the tile, but I noticed that the glass had a large gap between the two sections. I had my contractor look at it and he agreed that it was not right. He called them to come back which took at least 2 weeks after multiple calls. They came back and told my husband that they could just put some weather stripping in the space! He told them absolutely not, and they remeasured another glass for the stationary side. I waited for 2 more weeks and had to call them to get them to come back. They set up a time, and we waited all day. They never showed up. The contractor had to call them and be firm to get them to come back with the new replacement glass. They came to install, and this glass was worse than the first one. The gap was wider at the top than it was at the bottom. They measured again, and told me that our project was a priority. I had not heard from them so I contacted my contractor again. He said they would be out this morning between 8-10, but then he called back to let me know it would be later in the day. We waited, and they finally showed up at 3:00. They installed the new glass, and it was lower on the new side than on the stationary side. The gap was still too wide. They stated that the company that manufacters the glass was making it the wrong size, etc... So, to recap this was the third glass that they have installed that has been wrong! We had to ask our contractor for our money back, and they are supposed to come and take this mess out of my bathroom. I have now had to call a new company to come and hopefully fix their mess and build a new shower glass door. I hope that the holes they have drilled in my new tile can be used for the new door. I would NEVER under any circumstances use this company for shower glass or anything else for that matter. It feels like we are on an episode of Punk'd. Just horrible!

  We tried to use this business. Nick came out and gave us a price for a sunroom roof insulation job, and we told him we would get back in touch with him in two months once the sunroom was done. We then called him back and left messages, and it took four times before he bothered to call us back. Then he scheduled a time to come out and did not show up, did not call, nothing. Then he scheduled another time and the same thing happened, so now we’re done.we DO NOT recommend this business.

  We got blown-in loose fill fiberglass insulation done to R-49 in our Attic and we could not be more impressed by the work done by Daviston Insulation company. Their production manager Nick Johnson visited our home to access our needs, he was very knowledgeable, extremely courteous, and did NOT try to sell us expensive treatments options. Nick quickly pointed us the areas were we would get the most return for our investment. They sprayed 2" more insulation, to give us a consistent fill all over the our attic. We got rolled insulation in one new construction room, and foam boards on some doors which should have been external. Overall, we saved a lot of money by following Nick's advice and our house feels even and comfortable temperature.
