We ordered a piece of equipment to our site and had asked in advance for a somewhat new and/or very nice tele handler and instead they brought out not one but three well below quality pieces of equipment. Then they even had sold one of them while we were using it so our company had to stop production to swap out for another unsafe piece of equipment. A rep by the name of Phillip Simmons even came out to our site and we told him exactly what we need it for and how we are trying to impress this client with new and safe equipment. With everything that has happened in these last three weeks of using United rentals equipment made our company regret using them. We will even add it into our proposals to not using united due to the unsafe equipment they have provided us. Creaking booms that don’t allow you to gently place Material in the ground or surfaces,no chain guards, no side mirrors and a cage way to big to fit inside an inclosed tractor trailer to retrieve material are some of the reasons.
